Well, being that this year B and C's bdays have been so hectic, I did what any good mother does and took her to Target this morning. :rotfl2: She picked out a Hannah Montana Learn to be a Pop Star DVD dance thing and a Bratz Head thing with hair streaks and crimper.

Sounds good! :goodvibes

Im done with mammals!
well...dead mammals at least. I still have my mammal lecture final on tuesday. But thats a whole 5 days from now, no sweat!:rotfl: (in reality my head it like this...:furious:)

Congrats! And I'm sure you'll be fine!

I voted for the party that my parents vote for and I always have, very boring :rotfl2: The hair is just a shorter version nothing exciting :rotfl2:

Gotcha! ;)

Do any of you other than Dawn have blogs????

Not me - I keep thinking about it, but I'd probably just type what I do here, so... ;)

I'm on the phone with my guide and member services!!! :yay:

"When You Wish Upon a Star" is on... it's magical! :wizard:

ETA: Saffron? Really?! That's my MS person's name?!

You and V... :lmao:What's with the names? Although I think V gets "normal" names at member services and the weird ones at central ressies...

******************************************
I took a nap. I had the phone right here, but never got a call. I finally thought, "Oh, I should check my cell" and yep, she'd called there. They decided to stay until their niece got home from school, so they won't be here until probably around 9:00. Sadly, that's pretty bad timing. Because of our baseball game and the subsequent necessary showers, that's RIGHT when we will be trying to get to bed - which obviously will be hard if company walks in. With her DS sleeping in the boys' room... Well...

If it hadn't been a baseball night, the kids would have been asleep long before they came, but that's the breaks.

Oh, well - tomorrow's Friday - hopefully they won't be too tired at school, right?

The good part is that I don't have to come up with really fast dinner for 8 before the ballgame. :thumbsup2

Hello Ladies! (and the occasional gent)

I'm procrastinating.

KC went to see his Dad at work for a bit and is going to a live podcast tonight in NYC. Apparently he didn't mention that it is a ticketed event....and we have been trying to pare down these types of things lately...thanks KC for that...I found out via twitter. OY.

So it's just me home alone all day. I am going to do a little straightening up and prob order myself some mexican food for dinner. I'm still trying to take it easy with my back.

I am hoping KC will be into going to see UP tomorrow afternoon. I'm dying to see it!

I'll be around today. Have a great day everyone!

Oh geez... The phone guy came over, plugged in the phone to try and figure out why the jack wasn't working and it miraculously was! :headache:

How embarassing!!! :rolleyes1

Okay, thanks. Buh bye!

Hi Everyone!!!!

I'm back.

It was fabulous!!!! I highly recommend a Disney cruise!!! (if Lessa hasn't done so already).

Anyhoo, just thought I'd make a quick stop.

Oh and I've gotten Cinammon doing dining ressies. ;)

Kat: UP was great!:thumbsup2:thumbsup2
(they showed it on the cruise----for FREE...well not really free since we paid to go on the cruise, but you get what I mean, right?)

Ok, I'll be back later.

I'm sure you'll do great, Jo. We love you no matter what! :lovestruc

Welcome back, Z! I can't wait to hear about cruises too! We're thinking of an adult only anniversary cruise in 2011. :woohoo:

Focker help needed!!!

I have a few requests from my mom for our trip in March. She'll need to rent an ECV that can be delivered to the resort and picked up at the resort. Anyone know where I can get info on that?

Also- Mom is only able to eat a few foods. Do most of the resort stores carry yogurt? Does anyone know? :confused3

Last question- if there are gators in Bay Lake, how do they keep them from coming up on the beaches? :scared:

Thanks!

mwhahah!:stir:

sounds like you need to listen to the Dis Unplugged! As pete says, "stay out of the damn lakes" yes there are gators, stay out of the water. I believe they have people that control them, and sometimes they relocate the gators to another area.

As far as the ECV. I know you can rent them and get them at every park, and there are the wheelchairs to use from the bus stops to the front entrance. I know that a lot of people rent them through an outside company in orlando. maybe they deliver to the resorts? As far as yogurt...i know the food courts on moderates have yogurt, and we sold yogurt as the bakeries in DAK. Thats all i know for now. hopefully its a start!:wizard: have a magical day! ;)

edit: found ECV's! http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/electric-scooter.htm Thank you DIS!

Welcome back Z! So glad you had a good time! Hope your weather at Castaway Cay was good.

Hi Lessa!!! I have to check out your TR! :goodvibes The weather at Castaway was perfect, Nassau was crap, but we didn't care for it anyway! I got sunburned :headache:

Welcome back! You are doing a TR right? I need research for cruises for the future lol. Between u and Lessa I should be good for info!

Uhhhh....no. :upsidedow TR's are too much work for me. I'll do a mini TR later here. I don't want to intrude on Lessa's though so I'll show very little pics.

So glad you're back and that you loved it! :)

Welcome back, Z! I can't wait to hear about cruises too! We're thinking of an adult only anniversary cruise in 2011. :woohoo:

Thanks guys!!! I kept thinking how fun a Fockerfest Cruise would be!!! :goodvibes

Dawn: Pssst, they have kid's clubs that you can drop the kids off and never have to see them, unless of course you want to. ;) I don't think you'd want your kids to miss out on the Magic.

I'm sure the boys will be fine, probably get a bit excited though!

Yeah, they're in bed (not sleeping, though - Woody just made an appearance) - more on that below...

Cool! Let us know where and when! :goodvibes

:rotfl2:I do like the way you think.

**********************************************
Went through the ballgame, heard nothing. Exactly a half hour ago (just before 8:40 here) she called - they were still an hour outside of Boston. She was in the car with her DH's sister and niece. I had wondered if they were coming up - after all, it's their family too. Anyway, I don't know if they left their car in NJ or if they were carpooling and the men were in the other car.

Anyway, they were taking SIL to HER DH's uncle's somewhere in the Boston area, then coming up here. SO... Anne (my cousin, there are too many people involved in this story) said they'd be more around 10:00. I frankly think it will be closer to 11:00, by the time they offload the IL's and get up here. That would be an hour into Boston, 20 minutes to drop off and rearrange, and an hour up here. It shouldn't take a full hour to get up here at this time of night, but I don't know where the uncle really is.

So, the kids are just in bed and we'll try to sneak the 3 y.o. in after a while. ;) Woody insisted on giving up his bed and sleeping on the air mattress - I think more to be able to sleep on the air mattress, but hey. :rotfl:

Anyway, the drama of bedtime was avoided - we finished the ballgame at 7:30ish, which was great on its own - and were in bed at a decent time, even though Woody's apparently not sleeping yet.

Depending on what time they head to Cambridge tomorrow, I may have the whole afternoon to myself, so I'll be around. ;) Have a good one! :grouphug:

Evening all! Work was a bear today and the next couple of weeks are going to be brutal.

It doens't seem like amissed too much...

Although I was kind of hoping Jo would vote for me for Queen;)

CE - Glad the boys are in bed without issues.

Hi and hugs to everyone:hug:

----------------------------------------------

Tomorrow is a day off for me, but I have a ton of running around to do. AFter I take Jimmy to school I have to run to TOys R Us to get a birthday present for the party Jimmy has on Saturday (is it tacky to give a 5 year old a gift card?) then I have to run to the grocery store and the dollar store to get all the stuff we need for the block party on Saturday. THen I am going to come home and clean my first floor and my 2 guest bathrooms that everyone will be using on Saturday. I will pick Jimmy from school and then I promised him I would take him to the library. The weather isn't going to cooperate so I can't sweep and power wash the front, so that will have to wait until Saturday morning:headache:

Little side story..Jimmy's "move up day" is next Friday. He has been ealking around for 3 days singing..

We're the Kindergarten
We learned our ABC's
We count our 1, 2, 3's
We learned how to care
We learned how to Share
Tell us if you dare
We're the Kindergarten

to the tune of the Addams Family:lmao: This is one of the songs they are going to be singing. :rotfl2:

Hmmm... I wonder how much it would be. I know we'd have to upgrade our room.
Thanks for the tip, though. I had no idea it was so magical.
