How long should I allow to call for a cab from POFQ to our early breakfast appointments? Are the taxis usually nearby for a quick pick-me-up, or should we make reservations with the service ahead of time?

Our first day in, we will need a taxi to the grocery store, then to an offsite hotel and back to POFQ starting at TREX cafe. how much do you think this will run us, and how early should I call this cab.

We also have a couple ADR's at Chef Mickey's at 8:05am. Is there any way besides a taxi to get there in time?

Does anyone have the local number for the taxi service so I can get it in my cell-phone? I know were not going until Jan 29th, but I like to be overly prepared, thanks

There are early buses to get guests to character breakfasts. If there isn't one from POFQ to Chef Mickey's, then take the one that's going to MK and walk over to CR.
Taxis can be summoned by the CMs at your resort. It usually only takes 5 minutes or so for a taxi to arrive. Overall, it looks like you're planning on using taxis quite a bit. Might be easier, and perhaps cheaper, to rent a car.

I am not sure the cost of the taxis but generally they are some parked right in the parking area of the resort.
Unless you need something specific, like a van rather than a sedan, you do not need to make a reservation. All you need to do is go to the concierge desk and they will call a taxi for you, or you can call from your room. If memory serves me correctly, there is a button on the phone for you to call a cab yourself.

I have 6 in my party, so i imagine I will need a minivan. i priced a minivan at 1000 bucks for the 12 days we are there. I think it will be cheaper to take the taxi when we need to.
