Taxi question

If I take a taxi from my resort (AKL) to the park - do I still have to deal with the tram as if I were driving? Where do the taxis take you when you take one to the park? Thanks!

Not at DAK, or DHS, or Epcot. (There are guest drop-off points not far from the gates.)


If you take a cab to MK, it's drop-off point is at TTC, and still requires a monorail or ferry boat trip over to the MK gates.

If you do take a cab to MK, you could have the driver drop you off at the Contemporary Resort's parking lot, and make the 8-minute (or so) walk to the MK gates.

Do any taxis wait at the parks at close or would one have to be called if I want to take one back to our resort?

We have taken taxi's to the waterparks and to DTD at other resorts as I think the buses take forever to get where you are going, especially DTD. We have seen many taxi's at the parks and DTD for the. I don't remember seeing them for our return at the waterparks.
