Taxi Cabs

I'm sure this has been asked before but I couldn't find the thread...

Are there taxi cabs outside of Magic Kingdom to take me back to Orlando?

Not right at the park.

The taxi stand for the MK is at the TTC, which is reached by Express Monorail or by ferryboat from the MK exit.

Or, you can walk about 1/2 mi. to the Contemporary Resort, and catch a cab there.

Nevermind. It's the Transportation and Tickey centre. But where exactly is that?

The TTC is where everyone (unless you're staying on property) has to go to in order to get to the Magic Kingdom - if you're taking a cab to the MK - you could do as the previous poster suggested and instead have the cab take you to the Contemporary Hotel - and at the end of the night take a cab from the Contemporary back to Orlando..... It sounds complicated but once you are there and see it "in person" you'll understand completely.....once at the Contemporary you can either walk a very short distance to the entrance of MK - or ride the monorail from the hotel to the entrance.....don't stress though about finding a cab - they are readily available

The advice is not for me personally. I've always stayed on property so it's never come up. This is why I've never actually seen the TTC.

Friends of mine are staying off-site and were wondering what the cab situation was like at MK.
