VDH Questions for Purchasing

OMG. That's my home port. I already have the treasure booked a couple weeks after that. There's no way we could take off enough work to do both.

I know in the past, the member cruises were known as expensive sales pitches. I hope that's still the case and I won't feel bad about missing it.

on topic - @Girlstar30 if you aren't hearing back, can you just call the regular sales # and let them know you want to change your contract?

So I nervously ran the member cruise by my wife and she didnt seem to thrilled because its during her birthday month. I know she would have caved because the queen gets what she wants, but I felt bad because we've pretty much only been going to Disney lately lol

Anyways had to think quick and I was like well what if we go to aulani right after, we will only have to pay for one plane tickets because the cruise is out of San Diego and Hawaii isnt that far. She's never been to Hawaii and its been on her radar so she said yes and seemed really happy about that!!

Now we just have to see how much this damn cruise is lol!! I think it would be cool to write a trip report after, ive never seen anyone do that! The last one looked amazing i really hope its not a sales pitch I will be pissed, I heard they gives us gifts and stuff, hopefully theyre actually good not a magnet or some buttons lol

! I liked what I saw on the videos from the last one and im sure the European videos will come out soon! That would have been a good one! 2026 is my year i feel so happy!!

Glad she called you back! What was your final decision on how to split up the contract or are you keeping it all in one?

Shoot i dont know because she wont tell me what the closing costs are yet! She said i have to wait 4 days because it has to be 7 days from signing that she can discuss pricing and incentives with me which is frustrating I feel like im buying resale again!

She will only confirm things that ive told her which is about the $2000 of incentives. She said i will be very happy with the closing costs and final price compared to poly which I figured! What should I do for the splitting??? Any advice is appreciated

I think my husband is the same way. Some days, he enjoys talking about DVC. Other times he's like "please....no more."

So she finally called me!! I was seriously considering calling the main line and would have if it would have gone on one more day. I think she was worried I might do that because she told me to please not to do that because then I would have to buy if they gave me an offer in 7 days or some bs like that loll. She def didnt want to lose us.

Anyways she said her car was smoking and she apologized. On the bright side she seemed really really happy that I was going with vdh! I guess sales are a little slow there as suspected. She said she didnt try to push me in direction because I was clear I wanted Poly, but she thinks its a great choice for us because we're still young (kind of lol) and we will have it for life.

Im also really happy because she scheduled a date to come in person to sign so she can show us around the hotel and give us a history tour and fun facts. As a disney nerd, sounds great to me!

The closing costs for Poly were like $800, so it's not like it can be tons less.

$400 would be nice. My poly closing costs were $987 for splitting it in two, a little steep. For some reason she gave me the pricing info for poly and she says she cant for vdh now until 5 days

Ive gotten my fair share of swag but never a slider. My magic bands are held on with sad generic Amazon ones.
