Taxes and renting???

I am renting points from someone for Sept. I am renting 820 points at $10 per point. So the total that I owe them is $820 right? Is there anything else I owe once I get there, taxes, etc.??

We rented 83 points last Sept. and all we paid was $830, no additional charges for the room.

No, no extra fees. But I think you meant 82 points right? Otherwise, you got a GREAT deal!

You will only owe additional money at check out if you make telephone calls from your room, order extra housekeeping services, order room service or use your resort ID to charge something to your room (such as souvenirs or restaurant meals).

As others have already posted, there is no room tax to pay when you rent points from a DVC member.
