We will be staying in one of the 1 BR villas at Jamba House on our next trip. Does anyone know where the villas are located in Jambo House? Thanks!

If it's a 1BR DVC villa then it will likely be on the 5th floor at Jambo. DVC is the 5th floor of Jambo with the exception of the few club level rooms on the 6th floor. If you know the view type you are going to be in, then this site should be of help in locating options and some potential views that you could get -

If a DVC member helped you book the room then they can help you ask for a room request. If you paid cash then the hotel/booking people should be able to help with that. Have fun, Jambo is a magical place.

Thanks! It's not DVC, I booked it on the Disney web site. View is standard , I think parking lot view.

If it’s flagged as a villa then a good chance it’s a DVC room with a full kitchen and such. They do rent DVC rooms as they are allowed to use the points that members trade in for cruises or other things to book the room and rent at cash rates.

Either way, that room finder should help for any room at Jambo.

Interesting!! Thanks for the explanation!!

It will be on the 5th floor & a standard view will likely overlook the pool, or pool + roof overhangs, or part of one of the savannas. At Jambo there are only 2 parking lot view 1 br. villas & those are both classified as value view, I’ve highlighted in blue where the standard view villas are located.

If it’s a villa it should be a pool view or a partial or what may be considered such Savanna view. The values are booked fast as they are lower points and only a few rooms. Either way all of the views from the DVC standard are fine at Jambo. Put in a request for Kudu trail for your best chance of the savanna view. Close to ? Request = pool view although the rooms right above the Check in desk are Standard with a Savana view but also on Kudu trail side.

Thank you! According to our room description we will overlook parking or landscape .

That’s a great map!
Do you know where the 1 bedroom overlooking “ parking lot or landscape” might be?

There are no 1 br. standard view villas that sleep 5 that overlook the parking lot. There are several standard view hotel rooms that overlook the parking lot. I think the description is just generic language used by Disney to describe the category standard view.
There are 2 value 1 br. villas located on Ostrich trail which overlook the parking lot. On the map below you can see the value villas which are all located on the 5th floor on Ostrich & Giraffe trails. This link is helpful as well https://dvcnews.com/wdw-resorts/animal-kingdom-villas/maps-viewfinder
However, you know you won’t be assigned one of those value villas because they only sleep 4 people - the value 1 br. villas are slightly smaller than standard view villas & thus do not have the sleeper chair which is what allows the standard view villa 1 br.s to sleep 5 people.
The standard & savanna view villas are located on the 5th floor - above the lobby or on Kudu or Zebra trails.

This is a great map! How do we know what is a standard view and what is a savannah view? The colors don't differentiate that.

I’m unaware of any map that IDs savanna v. standard views w/ villa numbers at Jambo - you can sort of figure it out by comparing the map in post 6 w/ the one in post 10. I spent a lot of time trying to figure out the best view of a savanna to request at Jambo until I discovered that I actually preferred the standard views out by the barn because although I didn’t see much of the savanna, I did see a lot of animals in that location & I didn’t mind the long hike to get to my villa :).

The only 1BRs in Jambo are DVC rooms on the fifth floor (and sixth floor for concierge rooms, and the small number of DVC concierge rooms are all directly above the lobby). If you can make a request for a 1BR location through Disney, and want best chance to get a savanna view with a standard view room, request a room on the Kudo Trail side of the building (the left-hand side of the u-shaped building). All standard view rooms on that Kudo Trail side of the building actually have a Sunset Savanna view. The map above provided by syndrai provides the location of standard view rooms in blue.
