Awww Brook! I literally have chills after reading that your foot was feeling SO MUCH better!!!! WOW, how wonderful!! Take things slow on vacation and I hope it continues!!!

It really is wonderful being able to walk and have no pain! I'm still trying to take it easy, just to be wise about it all and not send myself back to square 1. Tonight was a busy night with last minute errands - so LOTS of walking, but tonight I'm off the feet and DISin'!

I cannot believe we leave the day after tomorrow! This past week has really slipped through my fingers, I feel like the trip should still be a week away!

I think your plan for the ECV and boot looks fabulous! I think I would do the same! I totally understand not wanting to have to navigate on and off the buses and wait for the right bus! It just seems like a hassle!

I wonder if you can get special bordering for the plane trip with the boot! They let people in wheelchairs on first. I'm thinking that, if you could and would do it, it would give you guys that much more time to get situated and get Henry settled! Just a thought!

You have to take tons of pictures of the Wishes Dessert Party for me! It mat have worked it's way into our trip in Oct some how but I'll be posting that in an update today!

I think NWA, which we are flying, usually allows parents with children to board first (after 1st class) if they would like to. We usually don't take advantage with the thought "the less time on the plane, the better!" but this time we probably will just to get the car seat situated without a million people coming down the aisle. If I wear the boot through the airport, I will ask on that too-good idea!

Oh, no worries on the pics! I'll be sure to document it! I hope I get to read your update tonight! I have sooooo much DISing to do-and I'm behind on PMs too!

Your picture of "Devine" is...well.....devine! LOL! I love it! Did you stay at Pop on a past trip. Thats my favorite (and only onsite place I've stayed!)

Yep! We stayed at Pop just for one night in November. I loved the lobby and how it sparkles - the whole theming of the resort is just awesome! I hope to stay there again sometime for a longer stay.

Packing is going...okay. We have clothing mostly washed, and my clothes are selected. I just need to actually get them into the suitcase still! I think Joe is pretty set on what he's wearing and I haven't even begun to think about Henry. However, the toiletries are about done - so that's a big plus!

I think you made the right call on the scooter/ECV whatever it's called.

I still love that Spectromagic picture with the Castle in the background. Where were you sitting again to get that??

When you are on Main Street looking at the Castle, we were sitting on the left - just a bit after Casey's. Next to a garbage can in case we wanted to use it as a tripod. I would say maybe 1 or 2 garbage cans up from Casey's closer to the Castle.

Thank you MEK! I really do appreciate the thoughts and prayers - they are obviously working. I'm so happy to be feeling well, and not have pain. All summer long it has been bugging me-so it's a relief to be pain free now. I hope it stays the same for the entire trip.

Foot saga summary: Pain, swelling. Ouch. Don't know what I did. For about 2 months and I finally suck it up and go the Dr. He thinks its my tendon (no MRI to prove it). I get Big Boot. He says 3 weeks. After 3 weeks, it's pretty good, I ween out of it too quick. Have one good foot week with a Small Boot, and then major pain creeps back in. I behave for another 2 weeks and now, no pain!

Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes for Henry! I will be sure to read them to him tomorrow morning!!

Last night during Henry's bath he took one of his bath crayons and drew a circle on the wall.

Then he drew two more circles.

Then he pointed, looked at Joe and said "Mahee." Which means Mickey in Henry's language.

He drew Mickey Mouse!

Okay, well...most people would just see a scribble, but Joe and I saw Mickey! Now that I look again, it kinda looks like Dumbo with those big circle ears!

And look at that mop of hair! Good thing we are going to be at MK on FRIDAY with a hair cut on the agenda!

Truly, this week has completely escaped me. We have been busy with just your average things in life, but they have left me exhausted and no time for being on the DIS. I very much want to catch up on everyone's TRs and PTRs before I leave, but I do not know if it will happen. So to everyone, if I don't make it to yours-I'm sorry. I will do my best to catch up when I get back!

And, as many of you have already noted-tomorrow is Henry's birthday. Joe made a comment to me on our drive home from work today, "Two years ago we were at the hospital, not knowing what would happen or how it would all go." We were nervous and scared. I had no idea what laid before me.

And it's been the very best two years of my life. I am blessed.

I once had tendon problems and once they started to heal I found out that walking actually helped, propably because it got warmed up and help the blood circulation.
