HI all!

We are thinking of doing the Princess 1/2 in February if I am able to. I see it is during presidents week- I assume it will be a madhouse? Will it as busy as christmas/easter? It will just be adults so I don't mind a bit of waiting, but want to make sure it won't be horrific.

thanks!

I did the Princess Half this past February and spent Saturday in MK and Sunday in Epcot (after the race, you bet I did!). I'd only been to WDW in the summer and over Thanksgiving, so it was the least crowded I've ever seen it--but others probably have a different perspective.

You should totally do it--if you have to put yourself through 13.1 miles of running, do it in the happiest place on Earth. Loved wearing my medal around the park on Sunday and having CMs and characters congratulating me.

We had run the 5k and didn't notice MK being too busy on Thursday. DHS didn't seem busy until Monday and Tuesday after the race. DTD was very crowded Sunday evening as all the 1/2 runners were taking photos at all the photo ops. They were probably the ones who didn't go into the park after the race.

We went this past February during this exact week. We did not do the marathon, our dates were chosen because of my in-laws schedule. I thought it was pretty busy. We were able to accomplish what we wanted because we did RD everyday and were smart about FP+ selections. However, I personally would not pick this week again. That being said, if you are doing the marathon, I think you'll like it. I would just check in after President's Day. We arrived on Tuesday. The Sat and Sun before PD and PD itself can be INSANE.
