Take out?

Do any of the Disney restaurants do take-out? We are thinking of going to visit a friend in Cocoa Beach for Christmas (yes, on Christmas Day). He's not able to get out much, and of course many places are closed on the holiday, so I was thinking of taking dinner with us, but I'm not sure what's available. Any suggestions/ideas?

While I do not have experience doing this, I think Disney Springs would definitely do take out. However, what I would do is just take dessert from Disney (sooo many options) and pick up food at a restaurant in Cocoa Beach so the food will be nice and hot and fresh.

I would guess most of the restaurants would give you a to-go box.

Gregory's in Cocoa Beach has offered a Christmas meal in past years. I do not know if they are having one this year, but you could call and ask. That might be a better option than bringing something all the way from Orlando.

Most TS restaurants are not set up for "To Go". Depending on which resort you're staying at, they MAY be able to help with that and it's surely worth asking. Have a Merry Christmas with your friend.

Earl of Sandwich.
Blaze Pizza.
EoS has wrapped up subs in the past (popular with drivers with remaining DDP credits), and while I've never been to that Blaze, I can't imagine they wouldn't have boxes.

Cookes of Dublin asked us last night if our order was dine in or take out.

You may want to ask your friend for some local options and pick it up fresh when you there

I can’t think of much that would be delicious after sitting in a box for that long

If all else fails, Chinese is always open and bonus leftovers for your friend!

I live very near Cocoa Beach. I’m not currently aware (but haven’t been actively looking) of anywhere here offering pickup on 12/25 (many options for pickup 12/24) but I will keep an eye out and let you know if I see anything. I know I’ve seen takeout at Homecomin’ in Disney Springs - you could potentially contact them directly. I think the Springs restaurants are most likely to be able to accommodate but expect all would need advance notice. Good luck! Hope you have a great holiday with your friend.

If you are taking that takeout food from Lake Buena Vista to Cocoa Beach, it will be cold by the time you get there. You'll be better off checking what is available in Cocoa Beach.

Check some of the better Cocoa Beach hotels. Restaurants should be open.

But I do really like Puumba_'s suggestion of Chinese food.
