Joe --- My DH, Ed, pays my bills. He works with Kroger... a big donor to Food Banks, I might add! I pay a few of my bills... I have a VERY p/t job as a bookkeeper with a tiny ad agency... I work about 10 hours a month and bring home about $100!!! My secret aspiration, shhhhhh, is to be an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner. shhhh

.......and I didn't even know it existed.......on St. Joseph's Day, we are supposed to pray for those who work with their hands, like carpenters, surgeons and such and we're also supposed to pray for our fathers, for obvious reasons........St. Joseph is also the patron saint of children and people who work with their hands.......I learned all this today and thought I'd share and get some brownie points with the big guy upstairs.......I really need em cause I've been thinking bad thoughts lately

I've been watching hoops all day. I'm doing OK so far. It looks like Wake Forest is going to win which is good since I have them in the elite 8!!! I would've been sunk had they lost.

We are going to watch Holly's dress rehearsal tonight as we don't think we'll be able to make the big show Saturday night.

The Apprentice is a "look back" episode tonight. No one is getting the boot.
[COLOR=66FF00]iluvtink[/COLOR], I am addicted to AI too. I think Jasmine, the Hawaiin girl with the flower is really good. I like the other Hawaiian girl, too. Oh, I also really like the girl from Georgia. And Latoya. As far as the guys go, the only one that I even remotely like is George. The other three stink IMO. Only problem with George was when he sang "Sittin' on the Dock of a Bay" it was way to cheerful. It's not a happy song & he was just way to upbeat for me. That being said, he has a good voice & seems like a genuinely kind person.

Let's all say a little prayer for Bichon Barb & her orangemen. they are up 3 points with 4 minutes to go. Those poor little doggies, listening to mommy yell at the TV. They must think she's nuts.

I'll check in later tonight. I've got to check out this thread Lewski709 & castlegazer have been talking about.

Lewski709 the planets in order from the sun are: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto (oh and that new one if it really turns out to be a planet - Sedna - if they decide to officially call it that). I learned that for a science test whe I was 13 and much to my discust it was on the wall in the exam room so I didn't need to bother to learn it! I've never forgotten it though!!
