I dont think comparing park hours from 40 years ago is a valid comparison.

For the record, LAST YEAR, certain parks at WDW were open late. Usually just one a day, but open until midnight or 1am.

I wish I was young enough to enjoy it (although we did take advantage or Early Entry).

Not 40 years ago. 2018 my last trip. But I do see that they have cut back hours at DL too. Too bad. Our only trip to WDW was 2017 and the hours were several hours a day less then than DL

Depends if that is WDW or DL. WDW opens late and closes early compared to DL. Many trips to DL we had early admission at 630am and in the 80's the park stayed open until 1am and we were there the entire time.

I have never seen EE at Disneyland at 630am, that would mean the parks opened at 730, which unless I missed it, as never been the case.

Even being up to be in the parks at 9am and staying until 10pm, makes for a long day while "relaxing" on vacation.

If I get a chance I will see if I can find the information. in my vacation files. It included breakfast at the Tomorrowland stage restaurant. Of course I am old enough to remember when Disneyland was closed on Mondays and Tuesdays in the off season too.

Found one of the vouchers online. Admission was 90 minutes before regular opening time, 630 am.
