Hey!

Maybe she doesn't know that DHB's niece is my little angel, Holly.

I will not have Holly sharing her title with a Texan!
Excuse Me?!?!? And just what is wrong with Texans? We have some of the cutest little girls in the world here. I should know, I have two beautiful nieces that I'm staying with right now!!!

It was so quiet here that I was thinking of asking on the budget board or the resort about their opinions on resort mugs.

That's always guaranteed to get a quick response! :p
I'm not getting anywhere near another mug debate! ::yes::

llebrekniT, Cash, Check, Money Order, Stamps are all OK. Send anything you like, as Nephosaurus said... except really perishable stuff. I have a friend visiting his Mum on the 20th (in Samwich) and he said he he would drop anything in the Local Post for our UK friend...but I think we can send it regular mail without too much difficulty. Again, I plan on taking pictures of everything that is being sent to Danauk in case there is a customs issue.

As far as who we can clean off of the color wheel, if you look to the left of the name, you will see some ">" marks by some names. the ones with ">>" haven't been on for 2 homes. ">" means one home...I am not sure how best to keep track of it with the new page limit, but the ones with ">>" will be the first to go...if they post in the new thread 1 time, all of the ">" go away...

My wife is so smart...I think she thinks I forged Nephosaurus's paw-print on the work order though...

OK, first they changed out the Satellite Dish for a new oval one (our old one was the older round one that can't handle the HDTV signal) Then we had to move the Dresser. Then they measured for where the "Old TV" will be mounted. Then they took the "Old TV" and started resizing it. Then I had to go back to work. They should be done at 2-3pm, and then I get to go home for them to show me how to work the new remote control.

:bounce:

Good evening all :wave2:

I can't answer the QOTD about cute nieces as I don't have any (no brothers or sisters or cousins either - I come from a small family. I have a SIL though.) I do have some cute 7 and 8 year olds in my class though. But appearences can be decieving. I have one boy who is tiny and looks like an angel (blonde hair, blue eyes) but is a terror, he is always getting into trouble!! I have some cute and well behaved kids as well though.

DH and I have just finished dinner (it was yummy). DH has just decided the radiators have air in them so he is going to sort that out. So much for sorting out his clothes to pack!! At this rate he will be packing just as we leave. Well my clothes are packed!!

Oh well I have washing up to sort out seen as DH cooked.

State pride, it's a little excessive and bizarre. Other than that, nuttin! Need an example? Colby from Survivor. He was able to take ONE thing on an isolated island and he chose the state flag. <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/23/23_4_63.gif' border=0></a>

QOTD What one item would YOU take with you to a desolate island?

ME...........a toothbrush. <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/12/12_5_45.gif' border=0></a>

Hey guys, chatting up a storm I see. Just being out a few hours you miss 5 pages!!

Guess what we are doing tonight??? Looking at new homes (well new to us anyhow) We are tired of putting out 2k a month plus for rent. Not sure what we are doing right now. We own a home in Fort Walton Beach, FL and may move back there if we can secure a decent job. The good thing about FL is that they do not have state taxes nor do they tax your retirement checks and we will pay in state tuition for Sam :teeth: And of course there is always a little theme park we can visit often!! Decisions decisions. The bids close on Tues night for the house we are interested in. Hmmmmmmmm this could be the death of me :faint:

My hubby!!

nothing to do with dh but thought this was hilarious <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/10/10_8_12.gif' border=0></a> Its like "I'll have a Big Mac, a super size fry, a chocolate shake and a large diet coke!!" It happens. I used to work at Mc D's many many moons ago

Ohana! Are you there? I just sent you a frantic PM about shipping my swaps!

Thanks!

Getting caught up on some QOTD:

1st trip to Disneyland - in 1966 (or there about) when I was 2 or 3 years old.
1st trip to WDW - in 1981, just before Epcot opened. Went with a friend and her parents - drove from New Olreans and had to put up with her and her father constantly fighting.
1st trip to WDW with ohanafamily - August 1998. We stayed at the Grand Floridian. I think he was trying to impress me.

Celebrity crushes - Do you really want me to answer this with my DH hanging out here?

Reality shows I like/don't like- I've decided I really like watching The Apprentice. Used to like watching Trading Spaces but it seems they design more for shock factor these days than to really do something nice yet different. I also can't stand Paige. Besides the fact that she really annoys me, I know something about her that really makes me not like her. Watch Fear Factor sometimes but the stuff they have to eat/drink is just plain disgusting.

Reality shows I'd be on/wouln't be on - I can't think of any that I'd really like to be on. At first I thought maybe one of those home makeover shows, but I'd be really leary about the quality of workmanship/materials used for the time and money allowed. (And see my answer to the above question, that's why I wouldn't be on those shows.)

Favorite pizza toppings - mushroom, blackolive, onion. I don't do meats on my pizza, except chicken sometimes.

Places I'd like to go that I've never been - Australia (want to go into the opal mines), New Zealand, Ireland, Japan (would love to find a friend of mine from high school that I lost track of), Tahiti (just because we were thinking of going there for our honeymoon but it didn't work out.)

RRBB! I just PM'd you the same message I just PM'd Ohana! Can you check it quick, please? Thanks! I'm about to leave and go to work for 30 minutes and I want to ship my box.

:)

Hmmm?

Whew! All caught up now.

Lewski's QOTD: If I couldn't take my family as my one thing, then I would probably have to take some sunglasses or an axe.

For dinner? Hmm, don't know, guess I should be thinking about that though.

Oh, I know, we'll have shrimp, corn on the cob and macaroni and cheese or Rice-a-Roni. How's that sound? Great, now I'm hungry. Time for my snack.<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/18/18_3_110.gif' border=0></a>

Be right back.:wave2:
