NOOOOO! Don't go yet geffric! I need your help! Sent you a PM, please answer me before you silly meeting. I'm sure they can wait.::yes::

Your daughter is cute llebrekniT but my kids are cute too. My kids are cute in a different way, my kids seem to look older.

Well the packing is still going slowly. DH is still ironing, he still needs to decide what to pack!! The hand luggage is ready though, well what I want to take anyway!! Saying that we don't leave until midnight tomorrow so I have got all day tomorrow to do last minute things. Tomorrow morning we have to go pick up the hire car that we are taking (we are hiring a people carrier to we have room for the 4 of us and our luggage!) Then we have to call in at the car place to get a headlight adjuster kit so the lights will not blind people as we will be driving on a different side of the road!

Rats! Guess I missed her.<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_13_2.gif' border=0></a>

kadaten, so sorry about your trip. At least you still get to go, right?

Rick, I think what you do is so wonderful. How great it must be to have a job that contributes so much to society. Like, you don't even have to think when you go to bed at night, "did I do anything today that was helpful to others?" Because you just do, all day, everyday. Must be a good feeling to know that. Can I ask you one thing though? Isn't there any other way of describing the amount of food rescued besides talking in poundage? It just, you know, kind of grosses me out. I just picture heaping piles of food, all mixed up, in big buckets on a great big scale. Isn't there another, more pleasant unit of measure out there? Like platefuls! Yes! That's much better, bowlfuls and platefuls and such. What do you think? I bet you wanna hire me, don't you?

Lewski I am NOT bossy, just direct.:snooty: I was only making a suggestion. I think suggestions are good. Like I suggest you don't call me bossy again, girlfriend.;)

Hmmm, OK, I guess I can live with that.

Don't know about the hubby ironing though. Are you sure it's OK for him to do that?

Where is everybody?

Just another day of me talking to me here on the Tagliarchy.

Well, I guess I will bug off for a while. Need to work on the Easter baskets.

I'll check back in a bit.

I'm still here llebrekniT.

DH always does his ironing and I do mine. Part of being a modern man!!

Actually you have a good point. Whenever I give a presentation, I initially give the poundage just so folks can understand how many pounds of food that would have otherwise go to waste. Than I state that in order for you to keep it in perspective, one pound of food is equivalent to one meal for the average person. Thus, 127,000+ pounds of food actually feeds 127,000 people of all ages 127,000+ meals.

Hello fellow axe murderers!:teeth:

WE are going to have so much fun together!

And whenever we are working together we will say 127,000 platefuls instead of 127,000 pounds of food. Great!

$16????? Wow, what are you guys sending????? I feel cheap! But I did spend the recommended amount. I'll go down in TAGLIARCHY history as being the cheapest member <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/23/23_1_138.gif' border=0></a>

I think you should definetly buy a house, how much longer will you be living where you are?

If you ever come to KY, be sure to let me know. DMIL is in the process of obtaining her real estate license and I will probably go back to doing that when Ella starts 1st grade.

I think it had a lot to do with the size of my box. I only had one box that everything would fit in, so I had to use it. They charged me $3 extra for it's size. Hope it fits in the Ohanafamily mailbox......

Plus I sent it Priority because I don't want it to be late!

Cheeringmom have fun house hunting. I love looking around houses, especially new ones.

DH is still ironing, we are getting there slowly. Everything else is ready. We have a travel fridge for the car which we can keep in our room as well. We are going around the Champagne region as it is near DLP so we can stock up and keep some chilled in our room
