This evening, after I take the kids to soccer, I'm going home and grilling steaks and enjoying a glass of wine (or two ), and then I will go to bed.

Okay you smilie-crazy people, I'm going to see Mrs. Brower's second grade class's production of "Bugz", where Mr. Hunter Perrywinkle will be playing the role of "Army Ant".

Hi y'all,

Been keeping up with posts ... but running around cleaning, paying bills, creating "Pixie Dust Specialist" marketing materials, etc. About to go to work in the art room at school, then pick up Kelley, then pick up Katie.

I have no memory to speak of, but whoever is going to the doctor for the sinus infection, make them give you drugs! and PD too.

Barb, cute picture on the horse. Love it!

I read the Grasshopper incident and you're right... Delswife is a hoot. I was laughing out loud. No time to read her trip report yet. I'll be sure and go to the bathroom before I read it! And you know, I'm thinking we are probably distantly related, just knowing what our vacation will be like in July with 20 people!

Have you noticed when people start denying rumors it just makes the stories grow bigger? Honestly though, we just haven't had much time for DIS'ing since we've been home - especially since our power was out for over 10 hours last night/this morning. And it looks like we have the possibility of similar storms again this afternoon/evening. Oh joy.

Well, I'm off to get my hair cut and colored. See y'all in a few hours - maybe. (We won't be chatting much tonight either. We have tickets to Miss Saigon. I sure hope the power doesn't go out at the Music Hall while we're there.)

Doc gave me a handout but said there's nothing you can do to prevent it, nothing you can do to treat it, and she didn't even have any symptoms other than the distinctive rash. I thought she was flushed. Doc said "Nope, it's 5th's disease" and that's about it. She said something like 75% of kids will get it at some time or another....funny thing is, I worked day care/preschool for 7 years and had never heard of it!! We got all kinds of things (lice, ringworm, chickenpox, etc) but never heard of 5th's Disease until Abbie had it. We weren't even there for her...she came with me to Walt's 1 year checkup...

So, no worries!

God no! I am NOT preggers! If I was, I'd SURELY be in the loony bin before the bundle of joy arrived anyway!!

But anyway....I found a lump. Doc and I both think it's nothing to worry about, just a fibroid thing or whatever....LOTS of women between the ages of 25 and 40 get them....and I'm right there at 30.... but he wants me to go to the breast clinic for a full work-up just to be safe. At least they don't play around with this stuff....but being sent for further evaluation sure doesn't put your mind at ease... Have to call in for my appointment today if the referral is in the system yet....hopefully it'll be soon so I can stop thinking about it...

PD to you, [COLOR=CC0033]kadaten[/COLOR]! I hope everything is OK. I had what I thought was a lump a few years ago. Guess what it was! Too much caffeine. Yep, I was so stressed out. Quit drinking caffeine, no more lump.

Wow! Never heard that one....but never had to find out about these things before....I guess that could be me, too.....I drink LOTS of dt. Coke...about 4-5 cans a day...but each one only has 1/2 the caffeine of a cup of coffee, so I guess it's only like 2-2.5 cups of coffee....how much were you drinking?

I didn't drink coffee, just lots & lots of regular Coke. A lady I worked with at the time had the same thing happen to her.

Now I drink Caffeine-free Coke.
