We looked around WL, because if we can get a good AP rate, we'll be staying there next March with my parents. That place is immaculate. How long ago did it open, because it looks brand new?
ohanafamily and I just got back from staying at the WL Villas. We really loved it there - so peaceful, except when you hear/see the busses. Anyway, WL just celebrated its 10th anniversary last Friday (5/28). We missed the festivities (and the special pin) they had though.

I love some of those musicals on your list RRBB. I loved Joseph, the King and I - I saw Elaine Page in that in the west end a few years ago. Plus Little shop of horrors is so funny, some friends of mine are doing it at the moment.
I saw Little Shop of Horrors in the West End back in 1984 with my sisters. I was travelling around Europe for the summer with my older sister and my younger sister was on a stop-over after a 6-week tour of Israel. It was a lot of fun. ::yes::

chocolate 'rita at the Poly for me...

DITTO! :wave2:

Oh, before I go...

QOTD: Switzerland and 2 nights in Italy over the border, and Canada (does that count?)

I saw Anthony Quinn in a fabulous rendition of Zorba the Greek in Nashville... see, we've got culture even if our neighbors in KY do marry their cousins!

RRBB and Ohana - Just in case I missed wishing you a happy anniversary ...

Happy #10!!! anything we need to know???

I'm off to the Poly ... are the 'ritas ready?

RRBB have you seen the stage version of Singing in the rain? I saw Tommy Steel in it in the west end when I was 12 (I won a national cooking competition and it was part of the prize!) Anyway, we performed it in our theatre a few years ago too (we even used the west end set Tommy Steel used as it is the only one in the country.) That was a fun show to do (especially on the last night when the rain truck leaked and the conductor had to conduct eith one hand and hold a bucket with the other! Plus we had to dry the clarinet playeds music with a hair dryer at the interval!!)

I saw it once on stage, can't remember whether it was when I was living in Tucson or if it was here though. I want to say Tucson when I had season tickets to SALOC (Southern Arizona Light Opera Company.) They put on about 4 shows a year, most of them were pretty good.

I forgot my Beach Club mug so I thought I'd stop in real quick...

Gosh, sorry! I got so excited about the SECRET that I missed seeing that little ol' WL part!

So, change the 10th to a 3rd and read it on the 24th!!! 'k?

;)

Back to the Poly and darlin' sweet Mel.

I'm soooo sorry to keep all my TAGLIARCHY friends waiting for the Contest Results. I really was going to post the winner last night but then all the lights went out and there was lightening and thunder and hail and wind. I'll admit it to all of you, but no one else. I was a little scared. :( And the lights and stuff didn't come back on until this morning. I really hope that doesn't happen again, but I heard the weatherman say it's possible again tonight. :worried:

Anyway, the official winner is...

llebrekniT with 9 correct identifications.

And the runner up is....

Bichon Barb with the earliest submission of 8 correct identifications.

ohanafamily and I are off to the show in a few minutes. It sure will be good to get lost in a show for a few hours because it's been a rough day for both of us. We got some not so good news this morning and we're both pretty sad about it. Then ohanafamily had to go into work where the power was still out and once it came back on took him forever to get everything working again. Boy do I wish we were still at WDW now. :(

Nieceosaurus how scary for you sweetie :grouphug: :grouphug:
Did you have fun at WDW too?

Poopy. Don't I get two extra points for being so prompt? :teeth:

RRBB and ohanafamily :grouphug: :grouphug: I hope you are both OK.
Enjoy the show. Let me know what it was like when you get back.

I've come back from the Poly to go to bed as it is late here. See you all tomorrow.

Stopping by here to see if anyone has any updates on FloridaCat. Any updates on Roy of late?
