Paint the Night in a wheelchair

Hi all! I posted this in my DIS "home", the DL forum, but figured I'd ask here too. I'll be going to Disneyland with my Mom in late February and we will most likely have a wheelchair for her. If we got a Paint the Night dining package, are there special accommodations for wheelchair users? I can stand with her, so no issues there, but I was worried the space may be limited. We were thinking the dining package would give us a better (easier) experience, but not sure how they handle wheelchairs. I was also wondering if we even needed a dining package...the problem is we would only be able to camp out about 30-45 minutes in advance. Any advice is appreciated!

ETA: also, does anyone have experience with WoC dessert party in a wheelchair? I'm assuming it'd just be handled like a regular party of two, but we would get a low top table. Thanks!

Without the package the ada section at Disneyland parades is right at the beginning of mainstreet on the right hand side. Depending on how crowded you can still get a spot 45 minutes before. With the package they don’t save spots for wheelchairs but they do have front row sit. I have been right in front and right behind the seated row depending on when I got there. For WOC yes your on the lower row if in wheelchair, i put it on my reservation and also let the host know when I check in so they save a bottom spot for me.

Did not do the dining package for Paint the Night this past round, but I have sat in the area across from the PTN dining areas. Front row sits and then everyone behind stands. If you are there early, the wheelchair can be on the curb. Or you can sit on the curb with your family member behind you (done it both ways in the past with my mom). You do still need to be there very early. 30-45 minutes may not be enough time. I would try for the second parade personally and find a spot around town square so you will be near the beginning of the route. 30-45 minutes before should be plenty of time for second parade.

For WoC, it has been several years since we did this too. My mom was able to transfer so we actually had a high top table for our party. But, it was no problem bringing the wheelchair in. They folded it and parked it near us and then we were at a high top. If not transferring, you will be at a low top and it will be no problem. Agree with noting on the reservation.

For Paint the Night, IF they keep it a wheelchair section, you will need to be there at least 2 hours early.
