Good Morning everyone!

I was awoken early this morning (well, 8am) by [COLOR=FF66CC]llebrekniT[/COLOR]. She passed along the news that [COLOR=CC0033]kadaten[/COLOR] had posted regarding the musical acts that will be at Epcot while we are there in October. This will affect our tentative plan that we have been working on over the last few days. Where do the bands play? Is it where they do the Candlelight Processional? We have also been discussing our accommodations again. It seems my DH doesn't like the idea of switching resorts. Whatever, like he has a say in it.
Also, my mom acts a bit stuck-up at times & we have to make sure the accommodations are worthy of her. She has only stayed at OKW (which she absolutely loved), so she we compare whatever we choose with it.

Anyway, what happened to [COLOR=009966]NC Belle[/COLOR]? Did she start a thread or did she just go into one & get flamed. I must find said thread. I must say I really don't like the DBers invading the CB. It can only turn uglier.

LOL! Oh but I really think I do. For the first time in years, I'm really, really, REALLY nervous! After having the past week to think things over, I've decided that I pretty much want it. I wasn't sure at first, but it's such a perfect match that it seems the next logical step in my career.

I gotta go, DHB and me are plotting and planning this morning. Not happy to hear that the Beach Boys will be at EPCOT, that'll just jam the park up those nights. Whatever.

Me too! Except mine is Samantha, the Victorian age doll. I got her for Christmas the same year Holly got Kit, the depression era doll. Kadaten while we were in Chicago, I sent DH on his own to the AG Place to buy Kit for Holly for Christmas and some of her accessories. I thought it would save us money by not paying for shipping. But sales tax is so high there that the shipping would have actually been cheaper! (We spent just under $300 there!) Beware if you go - it's 3 floors of little girl heaven.

OK, the dinner was pretty good, no food poisoning to report. Can't really post any pictures of their interiors to make fun of, their place is straight of Pottery Barn pretty much. We watched the Belmont horse race<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/1/1_4_111.gif' border=0></a> while we were there. Everybody was rooting for Smarty Jones, but you know how that turned out. The Don is a big better<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/23/23_29_110.gif' border=0></a> and takes it very seriously. Well, my Daniel picked and placed a $2 bet on Birdsong! (The winner)<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/23/im/ybysa.gif' border=0></a> So poor kid, everybody was giving him such a hard time<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/23/23_30_110v.gif' border=0></a>. Grandma came charging from across the room to ring his neck. He won $74! Add that to his garage sales earnings that day of $60! He's rolling in cash right now<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/3/3_5_6.gif' border=0></a>.

Anyway The Don was so upset that he didn't bet the winner because he was going to. I thought he must have bet the lakehouse the way he was pacing the floor, making phone calls, muttering stuff under his breath<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4_3_5.gif' border=0></a>. All the while, my little boy sat on the couch with a big grin on his face<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4_1_6.gif' border=0></a>, quietly enjoying his win.

We definitely had the BEST time and I can't tell you how much we LOVED meeting our fellow axe murderers! And boy do I have some stories to tell!

We actually flew home on Friday, got a very happy Cadbury from the kennel, drove directly to my parents' house(1 hr away) to visit with my father who had knee replacement surgery a week earlier and spent two nights there. Yesterday, I drove Jordan to camp where he'll stay until Friday, and didn't get back to my house until late, late last night.


I'm very tired but can't wait to tell you about meeting up with the axe murderers.......I so wish I could meet some of the others in October.....we really had such a great meeting! I've been trying to catch up on posts all morning......anyone care to do a quick recap???

cadburysmom, Post away...Robin is off visiting her DS, and I am at work....

Also, just an FYI... we lost one of the twins. It is call Vanishing Twin Syndrome. The baby stopped growing 2 days after the pictures we showed you (from the measurement). This was well before we left for WDW.

I forget who said this, but we are looking at this like our baby will always have a guardian Angel...

Ok, so I've got to tell you about meeting the fellow axe murderers. As you well know, I was both very nervous and excited about it. Airport Security wouldn't allow my axe on the plane so I arrived unarmed but not empty handed

Part 1

Jordan and I were staying at CSR (loved the resort) where we knew [COLOR=FF3300]NC Beast[/COLOR]and[COLOR=009966]NC Belle[/COLOR] would be staying also. As we were walking thru the parking lot to the bus stop on the evening of our dinner at O'Hanas, I casually said to Jordan, look for a car with NC plates cause it just might be THEIRS........and lo and behold, not two feet away was a black sedan with NC plates! Could it be THEIRS, I asked.

Shocked and amazed, we walked on to the bus stop where several guests were already gathered. Within minutes, a cute couple walked up and stood at the other end of the bus stop. Could it be THEM, I asked? "I dunno" said Jordan "but mom, whatever you do, please don't embarrass me" As we all know, [COLOR=009966]NC Belle[/COLOR] did not post their pics so I had absolutely NO idea what they looked like.

Well, as we were standing there, the female of the cute couple turned slightly, and I thought I caught a quick glimpse of light hitting metal as the blade of her axe was slightly hanging out of her backpack Could it be THEM, I asked? I actually then called out "[COLOR=009966]NC Belle[/COLOR]" but noone turned my way so I gave up and luckily our bus to MK pulled up.

We all boarded the bus including the cute couple and off we went to the TTC. We all got off the bus and Jordan and I headed for the boat that would take us to the Polynesian. Just after being seated in the boat, I turned and was shocked to see the cute couple boarding the boat also. Could it be THEM, I asked. Again, Jordan said "I dunno, but mom, please don't embarrass me and please don't shout out any funny names at them"

Well, we enjoyed a beautiful boat ride across the lake and as we were about to get off the boat, the cute couple actually moved towards us. I turned to Jordan and said "Ask them if they are axe murderers and if they are meeting us for dinner" Naturally, Jordan said "NO WAY!" So I turned to the female and said "Are you [COLOR=009966]NC Belle[/COLOR]"?

And lo and behold...........she WAS!!!!!

Morning! I *think* that's where they play...in the American Gardens Theater where they do CP...but I honestly didn't go to any of the musical stuff last year....

Congrats to [COLOR=FF66CC]llebrekniT[/COLOR]'s Daniel on his winnings! We'll all know to hit up for a loan if we get desperate Most cool....that he beat The Don at his betting game

Looks like I have internet (for now) so will be back later. Walt is not feeling well at all...poor guy is cutting all 4 of his 2-year molars at the same time! Ouch!! So he's doped up on Tylenol and taking an extra nap....might as well sleep it off...he's been sitting in my lap all morning....

My mom and aunt come in this afternoon and will be here all week so my DIS time may be cut again But the kids will be happy to see them, and we'll get to play some
