Hey, [COLOR=9900CC]oddball27[/COLOR], I used to love the original Degrassi. I remember there was an episode dealing with Animal testing, and the reporter that broke the story had epilepsy. Most of the drugs used to keep him functioning were designed and tested on animals....Scary...

[COLOR=339900]ibouncetoo[/COLOR], my biggest problem with the HP movie was that I expected more. I know that JK Rowlings didn't like Christopher Columbus, but I felt he did justice to the books. My big thing is that several plot elements were thrown out to accommodate the added humor. and it had rough transitions. The parts that were changed also made the logical sense disappear. Like the last sequence; there wasn't a reason for that to be moved to the end of the film except to show his leaving on the broom; what that leaves out is the Quiddich matches that were played for the rest of the season... Again, the details don't add up.

Danauk, nice Coaster Park.....I learned a rule a long time ago about lending money to friends, Never loan them any more than you are willing to give them outright, and don't let it destroy friendships.....I think that Liberty Tree Tavern does a traditional Holiday meal, and if you are going to a MVMCP, you can bundle the dinner with your ressies, so you can be in the tavern while the park is changing over... but I am not sure I bet a certain Disney-Specialist Travel Agent might know that answer...

[COLOR=66FF00]iluvtink[/COLOR], MNSSHP was a blast, but if I recall, the Toon Town section was closed. a lot of the open rides were in Fantasy Land etc. I may be wrong though, and things change. as a 4YO, she won't remember much, but there are a limited number of tickets sold, and the lines will be shorter; The other thing to think about is how late you want to keep the kids up.

QOTD,: never used a meal voucher, had one that was a gift, but the line for Beaches and Cream was an hour wait and we didn't have the time (our last day there) RRBB in a random act of kindness passed it on to a family that was waiting for a table (you should have seen the look on their face)...

That was so sweet of RRBB to give over a voucher, I bet the family were so greatful and it will be a lasting memory of their trip for them.

Well it is getting late here already again so I guess I should be going to bed soon. We have to go to work again tomorrow. I don't really have to go in. We have a training day and the boss said we could stay at home if we wanted to to write our reports. I have got mine finished though so I think I will go in to print them off and do some photocopying ready for the week. I hate not being prepared.

i just got back from the HP movie....I was not impressed. I was sooo angry that the landscape changed immensely...and what was up with harry's scar being on one side of his head one second, and then the other side later? i should have known from the previews.....

We only got <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/23/23_23_35.gif' border=0></a>, because that's all we were sure of for eating at $$. I thought it expired within 6mo's. I definately did not need 2 to feed myself, DH and DS (4.5 at the time) at RFC. There would have been WAY too much food. You get a drink (non-alcoholic), appetizer, meal and dessert with one voucher and it includes the tip.

As for the Quick and Casual ones, if you are doing counter service in the park or at a resort....I don't really think they make sense. They cost about 14.00 and I don't know about you, but I never had dessert when I ate lunch and I NEVER tip for counter service. Again, you get a drink, sandwich, side, dessert and it also includes the tip.

You have to do some research. Like [COLOR=009966]NC Belle[/COLOR] said, eating at Beaches and Cream you can make out like a banshee.

KEY......You have to know where to go to use them. You can look at the menu's at places, price things out and then decide whether to get vouchers.

Seriously, RFC and House of Blues were the ONLY two nicer places we ate at last trip.

Back from errands (and lunch with [COLOR=660099]TiggersPal[/COLOR].
Found some Disney papers/stickers at Craftmart and am making envelopes to tuck away $$ for my trip(s). I have a Belle, an Aurora and a Cinderella one. Haven't decided if one will be for each trip....or if they should be designated as food/activities/travel-hotel. I had a scathingly brilliant idea about the Sept trip and PixieMagic's birthday, but I can't tell you in case she's LURKING here and it will depend on if I get any overtime in or not.

Hey.....speaking of AMERICAN GIRL......did I confess to you guys that I have an American Girl doll? A 'modern' one....her name is Maddie and she looks just like me......OK, it was an 'inner child' thing. I LOVE the store in Chicago....spent a long time there with my sisters...had a blast (Yes, we each have a doll!) She's sitting here near the computer playing with the star slinky sent in the swap box from Nieceosaurus and Nephosaurus and wearing her 'crafting' outfit.

Well.....back to finishing my envelopes....then got to find some $$ to put in them!

Lewski709, pretty much what you just posted about vouchers is what I've been reading. Q&C really only a value and Beaches & Cream, Peppermill and the catina in Mexico.

I'm thinking about a couple of the dinner ones, to do a shared blowout meal at one of the nicer restaurants.....going to read and think about it a little more. Thanks for the input!

Evening, folks! This will be my one and only post tonight....cable internet is down (tech won't be here until Tuesday ) and I just can't do dial-up for more than one post...luckily I only had 2 pages to catch up on or I'd have just skipped it all together!! No color...takes WAY too long to open 2 pages and this freebie Juno web connection is RIFE with pop-ups!!

And for some reason, my pics aren't showing up for me, even though I'm using a completely different ISP right now. Tells me maybe the problem is with COX and not my cabling as she wants to say it is....who knows! Certainly not me

ohana Yes, Abbie saw those outfits, too, and begged very sweetly for them, but we weren't doing the doll (yet) and weren't sure it would fit Bitty. Don't tell her, but I think the doll either made to look like her or her favorite princess will be her 5th birthday present if she's still into it We'll be celebrating at Disney, of course!!

llebrekniT Cute pics, as always! I'm sure Abbie would LOVE that store, but I'm sure my checkbook would not Somehow I think we'll make it there sooner or later.... Her uncle flies out of Chicago (pilot for ATA) so maybe I can get him to stop and get her some goodies for her b-day, but I'm sure that won't be quite the same....

Lewski Sounds good on the vouchers. Maybe after we have some decisions made closer to time I can sign up and do the ordering...I've never done it before so I guess I couldn't be blocked.

NCBelle and depply Yeah, I've noticed that, too. Actually hit the "report this post" button for the first time....actually TWICE....the day the board closed. Guess I wasn't the only one, as the 2 posts I reported were gone in less than a minute! That decision doesn't seem to be popular with either the CBers or DBers, although I completely understand why they did it. I stopped going over there as it was degrading so much... I used to read and occasionally post, but not it a while....

Well kids, I can't stand the pop-ups anymore. If anyone knows someone at COX, call in a favor or something and get someone out here ASAP!! This dial-up stuff is for the birds!!
