We are thinking about send the boys off to camp next year. I went to Girl Scout camp when I was about Eric's age. Rob went to a Catholic camp when he was a kid.

It's not for the camping experience (we do a lot of that on our own) but more for the fun of getting away from mom and dad for a week. Eric, the social butterfly, would probably be right in his element. I don't know how Hunter would do though. He's more of a homebody.

Now here is the BIG question, what would Rob and I do? LOL. I could see it now, Rob running around the house in his underwear like Tom Cruise in Risky Business.

BTW, Robin has a pretty smile.

Really, there are only a few trolls--but they can be found on any board. Most of the DBers are really nice people, but they'll fight til the death get their opinion across. (Notice I didn't say "win a debate", because no one really wins, do they?)

But as most of you know, it's not usually the DB folks that get me upset, it's the mommy police on the CB. The ones who post on a thread and tell people what terrible parents they are without being asked for their opinions.

I think they should reopen the debate board, because it's getting a bit confusing here on the CB.

Well, last time it was my in-laws, this time it's my mom and her sister. Needed the energy for the in-laws...she's a neat freak so I try to clean so she's not going into shock while she's here. My mom, however, is not. She's messier than I am, so it already looks clean to her

Plus, I have the best DH in the world who does at least half (usually more) of the chores, so there's LOTS of help

But still, I'm sure I'll be ready for some privacy come Friday

I'm loving all these pictures. Is there more to come? I hope so.

I used to go away a lot when I was younger too. I would go on guide camp (girl scout) and then ranger camp (the group after we left guides at 15). Sometimes we would stay in tents (if we stayed in this country or went to France) but some times we would stay in chalets like when we went to Austria and Switzerland.Plus I would go away on tour abroad with youth orchestra. They were the best trips, but I was older then so was allowed to do more. I went abroad with school too, we went to school in Spain for a while when I was learning Spanish and I went to school in France (as well as a trip to the French alps.)

I think the kids in my husbands last school had the best trips. The 17/18 year olds who were studying geology went on a field trip to Hawaii!! I mean there has to be something geological a little closer! Plus they would go on ski trips each year and the rugby and netball team went to New Zealand to play a few matches!!

Oh well enough rambling on about trips. I better go check on the BBQ to see if it is ready to put the food on (steak for the main course and fruit and marshmallow kebabs for desert!) My first BBQ of the year What is everyone else doing for dinner?

NC Beast might grill some steaks tonight. Our neighbor behind gave us some yellow squash from his garden so we should have that too.

I have to decide on a birthday cake for NC Beast tomorrow--even though he had at least 3 mini cakes this past week. Yes he wore at least 2-3 B-day pins everyday from Sunday to Friday last week...at least 5 -10 rides that he was sang to by CMs and other guest, and 2 B-day cards.

I need a job so I can go this fall or winter to WDW and to go to dear sister's wedding.

Cadburysmom can put some pictures of us up if she wants to scare you .

I need to go to dye my hair bleach blonde now.

Hey gang, back from my interview. I think things went well. I guess it's a good sign when your interviewer is making jokes with you, telling you about the personalities of the person you'd report to as well as the types of people who be on your staff. Right???!!!

They have one more interview to conduct tomorrow, then she's going to meet with the department VP and make her suggestoins. So the process aint over! AAAaahhhh!!!!

Why couldn't they have said, "You're fabulous. Want the job?"

Maybe they think a boy named Sue would like to live in suspense for a day. It will be that much more fun tomorrow when they offer you the job. Glad it went well!!!

Nope, that's not the way it'd go. If all goes well, then I'd have to go back in and meet with the department VP for a second interview, along with the other strong candidates. THEN they'd determine who'd get the job!!!

Today at practice, a few of the girls really didn't wanna play, so they wouldn't do what they were told. So he wasted our time as they wasted his!!! We stood there for a little over 20 minutes, doing nothing, occasionally whispering and laughing at each other!!! He didn't care, he was "wasting our time"!!! It was fine with us though, we got out of practice at the scheduled time, and we basically got a break due to the whole "time wasting" thing!!

Well, were gonna go to Outback {we ALWAYS go eat there!!! It's the best!!!! AND some of the "waiters" are really hot guys!!!! }, go to the bookstore and get smoothies, and the go watch Harry Potter!!! I'm soooo excited!!! I haven't been out of this house since last Monday other that practice, so I am ready to go somewhere!!!!!!!
