A good morn' to all! Hope everyone had a great weekend.

Joe and I just ran errands and such, no big. Had brunch in lower Manhattan with some friends (well, two friends and one enemy but who's counting). And more folks came by Casa de Ricardo y Jose yesterday.

That's it. Nothing fancy but I sure could have used another day or two!

I tried to read all the previous posts but I'm sorry to say that there were just toooo many!

RickinNYC, glad you had a nice weekend. I worked all weekend. Lots of storms knocking out lots of cable for lots of people=a busy me at work. No time to DIS.

I'm off to eat some cherry cobbler I made yesterday. Yummy yummy. There is plenty for all.....

Good Morning TAGLIARCHY!!!

Thanks for breakfast geffric. We didn't get in too late last night, but we did have to deal with an annoyance. There was a notice on our door that the water had been turned of and would only be turned on the day AFTER full payment (+ service fees) is paid. Whaaaattt????? I made sure to pay all the bills before we left town so someone - either at the bank or the city - screwed up, especially since we can prove that the check was cashed BEFORE the date they showed up here. But all is okay now. ohanafamily was able to convince someone that it was a mistake and they came out last night to restore water service to us.

We had a great time at WDW. But it sure was HOT - not a drop of rain, barely a cloud in the sky the whole time we were there. We hit both the pool at the Wilderness Lodge and Typhoon Lagoon to cool off some - have I ever mentioned that ohanafamily isn't a pool/beach kind of person? So getting him to do either of these is a real feat.

Member Homecoming was sooooo much fun. Tuesday: We toured Saratoga Springs. We met up with a bunch of DISers for a while (though we were 40 minutes late due to WDW transportation). We got to watch Illuminations from a special viewing area while stuffing our faces with desserts. We had Epcot to ourselves - at least the part they kept open for us after the masses left the park. Wednesday: We had practically all of MK to ourselves after Wishes - which by the way I absolutely love!! They kept most of the rides open for us, and even had a few eating places open for us - and we didn't have to pay either. At the end of the night we had a special viewing of SpectroMagic. (Did I mention there were less than 2500 of us for this event?) Thursday: The "Grand Opening" of Saratoga Springs was over at Downtown Disney, on the grassy area next to the La Nouba tent - facing S.S. Jodi Benson - the voice of Ariel - performed for us. (What a voice!!!) The mayor of Saratoga, NY was there to help open the resort. Then after it was official we got to taste DD - each restaurant gave out samples of their food/drink. ohanafamily and I went over to S.S. after stuffing our faces for their "Founder's Day" parade and then caught Jim Korkis' presentation about Disney trivia. They had all kinds of other stuff going on through the day, too.

I have all kinds of photos to share from our trip, but first I have to transfer them from the laptop and camera. So y'all may have to wait another day or two. (Sorry.) But trust me, it will be worth it once you see the pics of ohanafamily getting his hair cut!

I like this bun in the oven theory ... seems to me that ohana has made a comment or two lately about when he becomes a dad or when he has kids, or something like that! <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/12_3_46.gif' alt='Fingers Crossed' border=0></a> Hey, how about a pool to pick the date, time, etc. once the announcement has officially been made by the two cooks???

I have no updates on Reagan, and I am assuming no news is good news. The reason they took her to the doctor, [COLOR=FF66CC]llebrekniT[/COLOR], is because she woke up on Saturday morning with a big blood blister-like thing on her tongue that had lines coming out from it. They say it looked like a spider! The doctor dismissed it saying she probably bit her tongue, and her mom didn't like the answer, and out in the car decided to give Reagan the once over. (Why the doc didn't I'll never know and he wouldn't be my doc any more!) She found red spots on her legs and back and so she went back into the office. When the doc saw them, he said "This is very serious. You need to be at Children's Hospital within the hour." Apparently, with platelets that low, she could fall or get bumped and be bleeding internally and no one would know it. In hindsight, they remember that she has had more bruises lately, but nothing that was enough to raise a flag.

Lewski709 - I read your comments about that movie... I wouldn't take myself to see it, much less my 5 yr. old kid! Your comments were right on ... you go, girl!

Okay, today I am going to go through the mounds of paper that have stacked up on the window seat, the island, in my bedroom, etc. etc. Too bad I can't recycle back into Mother Nature my way ... I'd have a whole new big tall tree!

[COLOR=33FF00]Depplyinluv[/COLOR], I forgot to answer you last night about Passions. I used to watch it everyday. It started two days after Josh was born, so I got into it when he was an infant. Lately, I have a hard time watching it. I flip over to it during One Life To Live commercials just to see what's going on. Nothing EVER happens on that show. Are Luis & Sheridan back together yet? Is the chimp still taking care of Luis & Sheridan's baby that Beth stole? Is Teresa with Fox or Ethan? Did you know in real life the actress who plays Teresa is married to the actor who plays Fox? They are having a baby sometime this summer.
