For the last 2 weeks, it's been

.
We avoided tornadoes last night, but they were around. Indy got hit and I think Louisville did as well. Today has been the same. We've had about 4 in of rain in the past 2 days. No wonder why Deadheadbelle's basement flooded.

Today, we started by attending a parade downtown. Grant was in the parade waving his little <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/29/29_4_37.gif' border=0></a> off on the Smith Barney t-ball <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/7/7_2_127.gif' border=0></a>. Tye got lots of <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/797.gif' border=0></a> flags to wave and <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/29/29_4_58.gif' border=0></a>, so he wasw a happy <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/16/16_5_37.gif' border=0></a>.

Thank goodness the <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/16/16_6_2.gif' border=0></a> held up for the parade. It was <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/16/16_6_6.gif' border=0></a>, but warm when the <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/16/16_4_22.gif' border=0></a> could peek out.

OK I am back again. I can't sleep and don't have work tomorrow :teeth: so thought I would pop back for a while.Lewski709 I'm glad you had a good time and the weather was good for you.

So which car do you think I should go for, the MGF (1st one) or the MR2? They are both roughly the same price. The first one I have always wanted but I saw the 2nd one for the first time today and loved it too. The 2nd one has more luggage space, but do you really care about luggage space in a sports car? (DH would have a bigger, more practical car!) DH says the 1st car is too girly and prefers the 2nd but it would be my car not his!! What do you think?

CMOM checking in.

ILUVTINK. saying a prayer for Reagan. Bless her heart. Please keep us updated on her condition.

Just popping in for a mninute. Still packing. Hugs to all.

Danauk I like the first better. We don't see those 'round here. But, it might be opposite there. You might not see the Toyota 'round much there. I would lead towards the one my DH wouldn't want to drive too. I'm bad like that. I like my vehicle to be just that.........MINE. DH like my current vehicle a bit too much now and I rarely let him drive it.

Do you belong to a summer club/pool (that is if you don't have one at your house.......grrrrrrr Mad4Mickey ;) )?

QOTD: We don't really have summer clubs here but I do go to our local pool.

OK it is really late here (1:15am!) so I guess I should be going to bed.

I'll be up again first tomorrow to cook breakfast.

Have a great evening.

Good night all.

Evening all :) A lazy Memorial Day today. Hit the mall, got some Blizzards at DQ, visited the local Veteran's Memorial....a family tradition.

Went and had the kids' pictures made (Walt 21 months and Abbie 3.5 years) at the Picture People, our usual place. Well, the pictures were good but the printer was messing up the colors. The 8x10's were all so washed out Walt looked like a ghost and the other sizes were all very blue. I ask the guy what's up? "Oh, our machine's been acting up. I can reprint them if you really want me to. But the guy that knows how to fix it is busy so it'll be a while." PLUS, they're WAY busy and there's a lot of folks pictures needing printing for the first time...so from past experience, I know it will be AT LEAST another hour, probably two. So I pick out the ones I want, tell him to reprint them correctly and call me when it's ready. I also *politely* tell him I don't understand why they bothered printing them in bad color....noone's going to buy them looking that way....if the one guy is the only one who knows how to fix it, perhaps he should be in the back printing pictures, not the lady who had NO IDEA how to print them correctly. I don't have time to wait today...your motto is "pictures ready in an hour"...I would think that would be usable pictures, not ones that are so off-color noone will buy them........I don't understand why these weren't fixed when you saw them coming out of the machine in the wrong colors!!.....fix them, reprint them, and I'll come back at my convenience to get them. ARGGGHHHH!! My biggest pet peeve: INCOMPETANCE!!!

iluvtink PD to Reagan! Keep us updated!

Our neighborhood has one and as long as we're up to date on our HOA dues we can use it. Luckily, it's within walking distance (about 2 blocks) so it's an easy trip over in the wagon :) Didn't go much last summer as the kiddie pool was broken the whole time  and the kids were afraid of the big pool. That pool company got fired and the new one has fixed the kiddie pool, and the kids are no longer afraid of the water, so we will probably be going quite a bit. Our pool doesn't offer outside memberships, but some other onese nearby do....to the tune of $400 for Memorial Day to Labor Day! Yikes! My yearly HOA dues are only $320 and that covers a lot more than the pool!!

We do all our photos at "The Picture People" too. Just love those photos. I wouldn't buy them with bad color and it doesn't make much sense <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4_3_3.gif' border=0></a> that they would continue wasting money printing them. Have the guy who knows how to do it, do it. Grrrrrrr.

Our community pool is $105.00 for the season and we have 2 to chose from. Outsiders can join but it's like triple the price. They are of equal distance from our house, but one has a big slide so guess where we go.

Check this out:
Would you take your toddlers to see The Day After Tomorrow???

 I found myself a bit bothered by some of the responses. I know, I know iluvtink you are shocked, aren't you?

:p

Hi everybody!

Thanks so much for the PD. You are all so very sweet. I'm kinda emotional right now and you made me cry.

Reagan's had two platelet drips so far, and I don't understand the lingo... I think it means "hundred thousands," but she came into the hospital at 11, after two drips it's only up to 22, and they said they won't consider letting her go home until it's 30. The normal amount is 150. Bless her sweet little heart, it's just making me physcially sick thinking what her mom and dad are going through. They are doing more bloodwork in the morning, and then will decide whether to take a bone marrow sample or not. I think she's 7, but Katie thinks she's still 6. Whatever she is, the more prayer lists she's on, the better it will be.

Sounds like everyone had a pretty good day. We took Reagan's older two sisters to see Shrek 2, finally. What a great movie!!! Okay, someone PM me about whatever reminded them of Barb and why. I could use some potentially off-color humor right now. It seemed way too short, was that because it was so good?

QOTD: We actually belong to a small Six Flags park for the summer ... it's called Wyandot Lake and it has a wave pool, 6 or 7 big slides, a lazy river, an enormous kiddie area to climb on and slide through and swim around, and then a few rides like the Tilt-a-whirl, the Octopus, the Scrambler, etc. We joined the new township pool last year, but after belonging to Wyandot Lake the year before, this pool was small, crowded and only had one slide for way too many kids. We went once and because of the whining and complaining, we never went back. The kids just had to do without swimming last year! Actually 2 of my friends have family passes and my kids like their kids, so it makes it a fun outing. The passes were $49.95 each and daily admission is about $20, so we pay for the pass in only 3 visits.

What is that movie, "The Day After Tomorrow?, Lewski? If you think I would be shocked, then I'm sure I will be.

Gotta get Katie to bed. It's been a long day. If I get a chance before we go to bed, I'll check back in. Otherwise, see y'all tomorrow. Lewski when's your interview?

:) ILT

It's Bichon Barb, do you need any more info? You really don't need a PM. Think about it after your head clears a bit.

The end of the world, basically. You'd be shocked!

Haven't heard anything more than the heads up call, "is she still looking and what time frame?"
sad1.gif

Hello.............any time frame. Sooner than later buddy! How's about now? Now is good for me!

Well TAGLIKINS,

Tomorrow at 5am, DF and I leave for WDW! Our bags are packed, and we're as ready as ever. All I need to do now is get some sleep. I'm going to be sure to take lots of photos while I'm there, and I'll be sure to share when we get back. I'm also going to take my webcam with me, and hopefully try to set up some type of streaming internet video, if we have a nice view out of our room.

I'll check back tomorrow night. Don't miss me too much. ;)

Greetings TAGLIKINS

Well, ARE THEY HOME YET?

QOTD, there is a city pool right by my house...don't know what it costs...there are daily fees as well as a summer package. I just trot over to TiggersPa'sl or PixieMagic's house to swim....that way I don't frighten any little children

holy cow. i seriously think i need to catch up to over 100 pages...

jjeeze why don't i just go watch rotk 3 times?

:p

Have a GREAT TIME hyzdufan! I've been meaning to ask if anything 'special' is going to happen on this trip....you know....are you going to ask any 'scpeical' questions of DF? Is there any bling-bling innolved? I don't expect an answer here at this time.....just wondering.....you can tell us when you get back ;)

Hey guys.

Oh, iluvtink, I came by here hoping for better news than this. Darn. How'd this all start anyway? I'm sorry, I'm sure you've probably explained before but I rushed through a buncha posts the last few days and I must have missed it. You can PM me if you want.

What did you guys think about a TAGLIARCHY pixie dust/prayer list? I think in cases such as this it would be nice. Sometimes it's hard to get in here and keep up with how everyone who needed pixie dust is coming along and if you're like me and have to scan and skim the posts sometimes, you can miss out on updates.

When are the Texans getting back? Shouldn't they be home by now? Geesh, how long are they staying anyways? Must be nice...

We do not at this time belong to a swim or country club. There is a new golf course country club in town that does not have their pool finished yet. When they do get it completed we may join as non-golfing members just for the pool. DH wants to put a pool in, I'm happy with out blow up above ground deal for now.
