Hello all! I'm back and catching up at work. I've read the posts from page 737, but I couldn't reply at home??!!

The DISboard font looks totally different on my computer at home, and I can read the boards, but I can't key anything in. Nothing. I must have accidentally hit a bad key.
Any thoughts OHANAFAMILY? Welcome back RRBB and OF! I'm waiting for your big announcement. BTW, either of you feeling a bit of nausea lately?
ILUVTINK, prayer for your niece. How scarey!
We had a great weekend on Lake Ontario. We got to park one row in from the beach. It was cool and very windy, but at least it was sunny all weekend. Here's an exerpt from an e-mail I sent out this morning:
"When we got there Friday evening, it was 56 degrees. I know this, because our truck has a outside thermometer, and I was surprised how cold it was up there. When we left Syracuse, it was 68 degrees. Anyway, there was probably a 40 mile an hour wind on the beach with 5 foot waves.
We started setting up, and the boys asked if they could go down to the beach. I said "Yes, but don't get wet."
A half an hour later, they come back absolutely sopping wet and covered with sand. They had on their sneakers and the only jackets I brought. Needless to say, I was extremely pissed. Even Rob gave them hell. Later my SILs were telling the story about how they were body surfing fully clothed and how funny it was. Sure, real funny. We weren't there an hour and already I was doing damage control.
But I guess when the air temp is 56 and the wind is blowing at gale force, 48 degree water would seem really warm. (Rolling my eyes.)
Sunday the wind finally died down, and it felt really warm in the sun. We went down to where this stream goes into the lake. Rob and the kids went in. Then the kids waded around the stream trying to catch tadpoles. When we got back, I told Eric to get into the shower. All of a sudden we hear this shaky voice. "Da-a-a-a-a-d! There's a l-l-l-each on my f-f-foot." It was a little guy attached to his toe, but Rob got it off with salt. Poor Eric, this stuff always happens to him.
If nothing else, we are toughening these kids up for when they enter the real world. Ha-ha."
