OK, where I work we usually have an off duty policeman working as security once a week, more during holidays. Part of my job deals with security, so I help with the scheduling, and am friends with most of them. Because of my position I usually ran a background check on any girl I was seeing...well, one girl turned up as a convicted murderer. (OK, it was a DWI/Hit and run).

And, In case anyone is curious...I didn't have to bother with one on RRBB, I knew her grandfather...(the check turned up 1 or two traffic tickets, the officer ran it anyway)... They aren't really supposed to run checks for people, but there are ways of asking that they have some discretionary powers...

I was in a Highland Appliance buying a cassette Tape Deck, I didn't have the cash on me, so I wrote a check. I was told (I think she may have been kidding) that she got a code to destroy my credit card and hold me for the police. I had a warrant out for my arrest. OK, The salesperson was my neighbor, got my card back and held the deck for me. I left and stopped at a pay-phone on the way home. I called the Officer that I work with who does the scheduling and asked him to run my info...Nothing...Nada...3 speeding tickets, one of which was Driver Ed'ed out. OK, I call the store back...Checktronics gave them the info...OK, I call them the next day (we used them in our stores...What's wrong...I have never been to a Albert son's in Oklahoma City before. I don't care if that is my Social security number, does the name match...It took me over 6 months to get the transaction off of my record. We also stopped using CheckTronics...

I could go on, but I do want to get some of the swap finished up tonight...

ohanafamily That sounds awful and Checktronics really messed things up. I generally use a credit card but will definitely be on the lookout next time I write a check!

So sorry about your box size mishaps and am glad you were able to get the right box size. Moral of this story.......size DOES matter!

I wanted to ask when/if you last ate at Ohana's? Someone else asked if it is good. It is becoming our fav. But what I wanted to tell you and Ohana is that he shouldn't eat the chicken wings. They have coriander in them and that is the plant that cilantro comes from. Just don't want him having a bad tum-tum and ruin an otherwise wonderful meal. (I know this because the chef published the recipe in the last Disney Magazine.)

AND another thing. I think the English is seen in the mouth area more. I can always tell by the mouth. But he is cute, isn't he?

And to everyone - "Ella Enchanted" was a really fun, enjoyable movie that anybody would like. Well, maybe not Rick, no blood in it for him. Just Holly and I went, but I know Daniel would've really liked it.

Evening everyone!! Been working on a autograph scrapbook for DD for our trip leaving Friday!! Just decided at the last minute here to decorate pages for all the characters I *know* we'll see there (character breakfasts, must-see's, etc.), so that part will be done....but that means I have to hurry this week!! I'm doing a pretty simple style, so it goes quickly once I have the idea for each set of pages, but that's the hard part for me...deciding what to do!!

Anyway...took a break to watch the Trading Spaces Home Free finale....they were both good but I really wanted Angel and Vilma to win, but they didn't The overall winner was the only contest I didn't vote for the winner in... oh well...they did a good job, too!

geffric Umm...I'm so sorry your camping trip went so badly, but CONGRATS to you all for finishing the hike!! I'd thought I'd had some bad camping trips when I was little, but I think that one beats all!! Please, take your time in the hot tub, and we'll all understand if you monopolize any and all masseuses you can find in the house

QOTD: about checking your UserCP first to see if any buddies are online....ummmm....nope. Didn't know it would do that! I feel like a newbie or something...must check that out. Been having trouble with the CP thing anyway...first too much email, then none, then not subscribed to any threads at all...argghhh....I usually don't have this much trouble with computers...

Also...since I'm leaving on Friday for THE WORLD, and I love to shop, take pics, etc.... I was gonna ask if anyone not going any time soon needed/wanted anything from WDW....trinkets, pics you missed, postcards sent to you or kids to get them excited for the upcoming trip...whatever! I can't promise anything, but would certainly try to fill any special requests Let me know and I'll put it on my to-do list

I have his E-Mail address, and have sent a few e-mails to him asking where to mail the Swap Stuff people wanted me to send him. A couple of very nice people made extra bags for him and Tigger Fans!. I don't mind sending the extra packages, I just need to know where to send them. I will post if/when I get a response from HuggaBaloo. I told him he had to come by or else...

Can't believe it's almost the end of April so soon....my how time flies......I love Spring but can't stand Summer with all the heat and humidity and worst of all.....MOSQITOES!!! Why on earth did God invent mosquitoes? I watched a program on how tigers will soon be extinct and got so mad why couldn't it be mosquitoes instead???
