As far as them getting their due...Unfortunately, I have seen far too many times the golden child can do anything and be right... Well, DHB and FIL and the husbands were there, I wasn't needed...BTW, my kids really miss you would you like to watch them while we go to a party?....

My mom went into the hospital this morning, My dad, Bro and Older Sis are there with her, they are doing emergency surgery tonight on there, Should I pop in to see her tomorrow, or wait till she is better and can take the kids for a few hours?

I agree, no color....prayers and pixie dust to llebrekint, DHB, MIL and the rest of their family. So sorry she has to endure another surgery but she is lucky to have so many loved ones who care about her.

llebrekint - you are a great DIL! Don and Nancy-pants stink and that is the jist of that.....they'll get theirs in the end.....MIL and FIL will definitely notice their absence....just hope you can get some much needed rest....

ibouncetoo - ok, I'm jealous.....have a great time anyway....can't wait to hear all about it

I gotta ask...is that in your room or a few computers in the lobby? A Westin I stayed in had it in the lobby, but only 1 terminal, so I never got to use it! But it looks like that's not a problem for you Are you using a laptop or is this that TV system?

No, llebrekniT, you didn't offend any nurses! (If anyone did, I may have If so, it was unintentional) I was just reiterating ohanafamily's comment to keep an eye on them. My mom is a nurse (critical care...cardiovascular ICU...recovering heart surgery patients) and has been for 25 years....and she'd be the first to tell you to keep an eye on things when you or a loved one is in the hospital! I was sitting here hoping I wasn't worrying you!! It's just that in the medical field, things are so easily "fixed" if something falls through the cracks (like you can just take your car back to the mechanic if they didn't get it right the first time)...so it's of utmost importance that things go smoothly!! She says there are just so many things expected out of nurses....most of them are great people, doing the best they can....there's just more work than people to do it!

Wishing her a smooth surgery and speedy recovery....

Good morning all, Full English breakfasts are on the table for everyone.
[COLOR=FF66CC]llebrekniT[/COLOR] is there any news on your MIL this morning? I hope things went well last night for her and your family.

Right now I'm going out to look for my cat Cheeky. He went out yesterday morning and I haven't seen him since and I am a little worried. He quite often stays out overnight so I was not worried that I didn't see him before bed but he is usually here for breakfast even if he has already eaten (the cats can get in to the area they are fed in from outside). I think he might have been back as I think the food has gone down and Figaro was in last night. Oh well I'm sure he will turn up. It's raining at the moment so he is probably curled up under some where asleep but I will go have a look.

I thought I would let you know that I found Cheeky, he was in one of his regular hiding places, in the bush in front of my nextdoor neighbours window. The cats often sit in front of our window or next door as it is quite sheltered. However when I saw him a dog that was being walked on the field saw me and ran over to me barking and jumping up so my cat refused to move (even though my cat was bigger than the dog!!). So I went to get his food bowl and put it on the path and sure enough he came out!! So he is upstairs sleeping on the bed right now (after he finished eating). He was probably there when I had a look for him last night but as it was dark I couldn't see very well. At least he is OK.

Right yesterday was washing day, today is ironing, food shopping and making sure I am ready for work tomorrow (I did my planning a few weeks ago to I knew I would be able to have a break, only now I can't remember what I planned so I guess I better go check!)

It's an actual computer....monitor and keyboard in the room! This is an 'experiement' by the hotel...kind of like when WDW 'soft' opens a ride.... They are 'tracking' the sites people visit, so I'm glad I'm letting them 'see' my visits to the Disney site, as well as this one.

All my best wishes, prayers and pixie dust go out to Connie and Anne and their families this morning. You know I'll be thinking of you today, even in the midst of my playing at one of OUR favorite places. Hope everything goes will for DM/DMIL today.
