llebrekniT, why on earth did the hospital have to wait for this one particular doctor? Good God! They should have taken a look at the records from her recent surgery and done appropriate x-rays, CT scan, sonogram or whatever--to find out what was going on!!
Is he the only doctor in Kentucky that could read her chart? I'm sorry, but these things really piss me off.
Looking at the bright side, her vitals must have been normal otherwise they wouldn't have taken this long to do something.
Get some rest, and just keep the phone nearby. No use in wearing yourself out.

We are thinking about you, llebrekniT and DHB, and we are up late if you need anything. It was rough for us when my Dad got real ill--he had a lot of stones clogging his liver---this was happening the same week as Hurricane Isabelle. So, I couldn't be up there to see him before his different procedures. He had good specialists in Altoona, PA and was sent to Pittsburgh. He is almost totally recovered--about six more months of meds and monitioring. The doctors thought his stones were from his big weightloss. I hope things get better fast.

I cant deal with these 3-4 inch ones
