:ewok: My DD looked like an ewok when she was dressed in full makeup at her play over the weekend.

Now for the vent. :offtopic: I live in a townhouse and we have an association that takes care of the outside. Since I've moved in (Nov. '01) the homeowners have had to take on more and more responsibilities. And they've raised our dues. Today I pull into our street and see a bobcat and some guys working. I says to myself, "hhmmmm, I wonder what's going on." I pull into my spot and my next door neighbor is standing in her doorway. Not a good sign. :sad2: My neighboors on both sides tell me at the same time that someone from the board, the treasurer, authorized the removal of ALL the bushes, shrubs AND trees. :scared1: They are all perfectly healthy. The stuff will be replaced with river rocks. This B**TCH more than likely hasn't even consulted the rest of the board. Of course people have called the rest of the board members. A petition has been started to call an emergency board meeting. We're going to try to contact a lawyer to see what can be done.

For pete's sake, in this economy tearing out perfectly good landscaping is nuts. The sidewalks are in need of repair. Only one of the roofs has been replaced. There are about 8-10 buildings. :headache:

Vent over.

TarzansKat, adorable bed and great price. :thumbsup2

Cheermom, teenagers keep life interesting. ;)

PaMom, hope your situation is resolved. That's too bad to remove healthy shrubs and trees and replace them with rocks.

My daughter went to Southern Maine Community College to take the Accuplacer today. You take the test on the computer. They see the results right away so they immediately told her that she was accepted. Then the lady said that b/c it's early, she will get housing. Housing is not automatic, it's 1st come 1st serve. That's a load off our minds b/c we were worried about her getting into a dorm. Though I will feel better when I see on paper that she has a room.

Thanks, for reminding me why I'm happy to not be in an HOA. It seems like one person who has a Napoleon Complex always wants to take over. . . .

SadieDog, congrats on your daughter! Iknow you are proud of her. :goodvibes
