I got up early to begin on my work so I can postpone my work to take my son over to mow the grass for his job. Can you see the problem with this? And... It was my plan all along. Kids... the change us don't they?

Not much. We're having our driveway added on to and a tree removed. So I've had to be here to talk to the contractors giving bids. I plan to do something tomorrow. When I don't tire out my little one, she skips nap then gets grumpy early. Which makes me grumpy.

I was sleeping. It's my last Friday off before school starts on Monday. I wish I could have slept later, but the dog wanted out.

Happy Friday ya'll. What are your plans for the weekend? Nothing fun for me. My goal is cleaning out my closet and getting rid of a bunch of useless clothes and shoes. Then I'm going shopping!

Good Morning Everyone!

Well I am off to strip wallpaper off a past clients kitchen. Actually, it wasn't even my client. I co-broked with an agent in my office, him with the seller, me with the buyer. She was the seller and we hit it off and remained talking since. She has loopis (sp?) and a 6 year old daughter and right after moving in her mother passed away followed by her mother in law. Right before her mother in law passed, her husband found out he had cancer and was not even able to attend his mother's funeral. He is not doing well. Not at all.

So the dreaded kitchen wallpaper never came off. And she hates it. Can't blame her one bit either. So her agent was once a paint/wallpaper company owner so guess what he suggested? Yep, this girl is going over for a full 8 hours of work. I have never done it but my co worker can teach me I am sure. LOL

Hopefully we get it all done today so we can just go back for painting and such. I also made a yummy homemade mac and cheese and ham casserole so that she doesn't have to get in the kitchen to try to feed them. We can just heat and eat. And I make a pretty good mac and cheese.. in fact, in times of pity party moods, I often think that some friends invite me to parties only because they can't make it themselves and know if they ask, I will bring. LOLOLOL Ok... I said in times of pity party moods.... nuff said.



But i will miss you all while I am gone. And feel free to post away as i can read very quickly to catch up.

It's POURING again with flood warnings. All it does is rain. Dogs can't take much more of it.

Our waterfront land has a showing this weekend. It does NOT show well when it's wet and since it rains all the time, it probably looks like a complete swampy mess. This is getting so depressing. We lowered the price and still only 1 person called. NEED to sell to pay off debt and such.

MomsOf2boys, wallpaper removal can be miserable or it can go pretty good. When there is like 3 layers and some idiot put the 1st directly on the sheetrock, it's awful. Hope you only have 1 layer to remove. Nice you are helping. Sounds like she could use a friend.

Sounds like you have a good plan. Out with the old, then shop for the new! I have my DD's birthday party tomorrow. It's a "Summer Fun" pool party. I've got everything put together for my candy buffet. Instead of giving out goodie bags, I'm giving each kid a personalized sand bucket. They can then go down the buffet and fill their bucket up with candy. I got stuff that won't melt in the sun, so sadly, no chocolate. I may get Tootsie Rolls. Those hold up okay in the heat. Otherwise, we have ring pops, pop rocks, twizzlers, jolly ranchers, starbursts, and bubble gum. There will only be 6 kids, so that should be plenty.

That is really nice of you to help with such a big job. Your casserole sounds yummy!!! I'm thinking of holding myself a pity party just so you would make me some.

Sorry you're having such a hard time. It is such a bad time to sell. My DH turned down a job that would require us to move. One reason was we would never be able to sell our house for enough to pay off our mortgage and home equity loan.
