I don't think ANY thing is worse than "Poo just goes with the territory!"....It's a perfect tag, though....taken IN context, it made perfect sense. Take it OUT of context, put it in a nice purple color under my user name, and voila!...it sounds ridiculous and gives the Tag Fairy something to do!!

How about "partial to guys who wear Scooby Doo underwear"?!

I'm now paying more for electricity. We've had rates capped for the last 10 years and they came off at the beginning of the year.

TK--I prefered my steak at the Captain's Grille over the one at Yachtsman, so I understand. It really is a nice, pleasant restaurant.

Oh, I did book our next trip today. Legomom, it is my last trip for at least 2 years.

And no, I'm not kidding.

We took advantage of the 35% off offer that I got in my room last week, which incidentally, is the same offer online now.

You know, I have been waiting and "playing the game" on the Disney World web site and all that hoopla, and I have yet to get a PIN. I have never gotten a PIN. I've never even gotten a bounce-back offer left in my room at POR!! So I'm holding out for Free Dining, which I think will end up being a better deal anyway (I've been playing around with room rates and possible percent-off deals....FD wins every time, at least for one person staying in a Value Resort during value season). I was chatting it up with DH again earlier today and we're good on the timing and approx. dates and all that, so as soon as I have my deposit money, I'm booking! I still think I'll only do the Quick Service plan.....I'm just not into doing a sit-down meal by myself, and besides I want the refillable mug!!

Morning all! We're back home in Florida. Tennessee was a fun trip. All your talk of Southern cooking, that's what I really enjoyed there. Fried catfish, country fried steak, sweet tea, and barbecue ribs. I know I'll be back on Weight Watchers tomorrow. The whole time it didn't snow, but of course, when we walked out to pack up the car... there was snow. The kids probably would have loved playing in it if we didn't dress all of them for being back in Florida.

So far, 2010 isn't starting out great for us. When we got home from our trip we found our oldest cat, Lightning, dead on the back porch. Our neighbor who was checking on the cats said he was alive the day before. Fat Boy was almost 14 and weighed 23 pounds. So I'm guessing old age, weight, and diabetes caught up to him.

Another bit of not great news, but on a much lesser scale, my cousin backed out on us for our MLK weekend trip to BLT. Now we have to decide whether to cancel totally, downgrade if possible, or sell the reservation to help pay for our dues. Since it's 2 weeks away, I don't have a lot of time to decide.

I think I may take LegoMom's lead and head to a bookstore for a good book and some Starbucks.

I was just so amazed that I was able to eat crab legs at a one table service restaurant. And they were FANTASTIC.

I'm so sorry to hear about your cat. Man, if I weren't in the first trimester, I would so ask you what you'd charge for that ressie.

My mother and actually had a January trip booked, and I insisted that we cancel. :::sigh::: I just didn't see the point in going to Disney right now if I couldn't enjoy the food.

TK--the offer is now up to 45% off on Deluxe Villas for bookings through 6/3. It translates as 35% off on moderates.

I booked because it brings our trip below the $3000 mark. Which is a big deal for a family of 5 on the dining plan and with an 11 year old Disney adult.

MeanQueen, I told you on FB that I am sorry about your cat, but I want to reiterate how very, very sorry I am.

Whatever happened to Zzub?

If I remember correctly, his last TR was closed (for reasons that were never disclosed....just one day, it was locked). Then, it was reinstated but moved to the Community Board. After that, he just pretty much left the boards all together. He blogged for a while, where he basically finished that last TR, but after finishing that, he just said good-bye and has moved on to do other things. I have my own theories on why his TR was first locked and then moved off the TR board to the CB, but there was great controversy over it so I just keep quiet. That happened not long after a bunch of people were "removed" from the DIS (read: banned), so I figure better safe than sorry.
