Well I was not able to fight off the sinus infection. I went to the Dr today. Sinus infection with ear infections as well. No wonder I feel like a truck ran me over. I am so very dizzy that I could not stand still on the scale. It was rattling and the nurse took hold of my arm just as I used my other arm on the wall to brace myself. We got a chuckle out of it b/c she 1st thought something was wrong with her scale. Nope, just me unable to balance myself. The throbbing in my head, nose and upper teeth is pretty bad and of course I hate being so dizzy. My ears have a lovely burning sensation. Maybe the antibiotics won't make me as sick and pukey this time. My husband will pick them up on his way home. MUST GO SIT ON THE COUCH

amanda!!!!......oh my stinkin' heck have you SEEN the new Postal Service Priority Mail ad on tv???!!!...... The mailman walks up on to a porch, where a family is outside looking in their front door. The camera shows the inside and there's an empty box that's just been opened over in the middle of the room and there's a CLOWN standing on the floor next to it.....Camera cuts back to the mailman telling the family how easy it is to return this "gift" and when they all look back inside, suddenly the clown is RIGHT there on the other side of the door!!!!

anywho since it's been awhile...

christmas break was good, blah blah blah, got a guitar and some other cool stuff...

went back to school today

what an icky way to spend my one and only sweet 16

speaking of that... would any of you have an idea on a party for my sweet 16? obviously i'm not having it the day OF but I'd like to do SOMETHING. I'm only turning 16 once, I hope so the only thing is I haven't had a bday party in forever, and i don't exactly have that "tight circle" of friends (my mom says it's cuz I'm "too mature for my age".)... so I wouldn't even know what I'd like to do with my friends. I guess she's right, I'm not exactly fond of goofy-ness... which is so odd since I love being in Disney and around this insanity

so, any ideas?

I hope you had a great birthday. It's a good idea to make it a good one. Mine stunk and I still remember it many years later (but not as many as a lot of you others, so shut it.)

Here are some birthday party ideas (all clown free): Mall scavenger hunt (did it for DD's 10th), movie party (DD's 7th), spa party (probably for DD's next), pool party (5th and 9th), and Build a Bear (4th and will be for my youngest too). Since you're too far from Florida, you can't do how we generally spent her other birthdays (at Disney.)

As far as a party, I don't know what you like, but I can tell you what 2 of my daughter's friends did for their winter 16th b-days. One brought some friends to a hotel for the night which had a pool, hot tub, sauna and spa. Another took a few friends to a concert. Of course they had to drive 60 miles to the concert b/c we live in a small town. My daughter's b-day is in the summer so we usually go to our camp. She didn't have a special 16th party.

I didn't have a sweet 16 bday party, nor did I have a 21st bday celebration.

Neither did I. I had 1 friend party when I was a kid around age 6 or 7. I already had a toddler by the time I was 21 so going out was rare. I did go to a bar with 2 of my brothers and a few friends the night after my 21st b-day.

Good morning and thanks for the well wishes everyone. ICK got to take my pill now. I have the timing down. In about 3 hours I will be trying not to puke. Must keep eating to help settle my stomach. I'm not working today. The daycare lady's daughter is home from college and taking my place today. Of course that means I lose a good amount of my pay missing yesterday afternoon and today, but I need to get better.
