Good morning DIS people!


It's FRIDAY!!!



I don't know where an entire week has gone...it was a week ago
that I was going on my scrap booking retreat - seems like just a
few days!! Why does time speed up so when I desperately
need it to slow down?!!
Only 46 days until Christmas, don'tcha know...

Oh, I actually bought something yesterday for
my boys! One down, quite a ways to go...

Well, the kids have no school today (teacher workshop) but I do have to work so that's it for now. I will be in and out over the weekend and YES!...now that the weather is decidedly unpleasant around here, I should be in here posting more!

I've got a few Christmas presents bought. I got DD8 the High School Musical 2 dolls and Sing it! Game for the Wii. I was worried those would disappear, so I bought them quick. We also got the Rose Cottage Playhouse for my DD1. Luckily, we're having a garage sale tomorrow to get rid of lots of toys... so we can make space for the new ones.

Here's a nice morning drink for all of you braving the cold.

Starbucks started their holiday line of Eggnog Lattes, Gingerbread Lattes, and Peppermint Mochas. I drink iced Peppermint Mochas most of the year, but I'm looking forward to trying the Gingerbread. I had an iced Eggnog Latte yesterday. I think I'll need to go to a 12-step Starbucks program soon.

Starbucks started their holiday line of Eggnog Lattes, Gingerbread Lattes, and Peppermint Mochas. I drink iced Peppermint Mochas most of the year, but I'm looking forward to trying the Gingerbread. I had an iced Eggnog Latte yesterday. I think I'll need to go to a 12-step Starbucks program soon.

I'm cleaning my house on this fine Friday night. What exciting things are y'all up to? Obviously something more exciting than that or you'd be in here posting!

I clean because I show. The house, that is! We had someone here yesterday who apparently wants a 2nd showing next weekend. Then there's someone coming tomorrow morning, too.

Hi D.O.! Hi everyone! Got my Rope Drop music on this morning... such a great way to start a day!

Can't linger here, though - need to finish sprucing up this place and get the kids up and going (showing at 10:30 this morning). You know, picking stuff up off the floor only goes so far when your CAT insists on knocking the alphabet magnets off the FRIDGE!!!! Ugh... I'm waiting for the day that I get up and find a message spelled out!

Hope your house showing went well. We just finished our garage sale. We got rid of a lot of big items, like a dresser and coffee table. Yet, we still don't have the room for a car in the garage.
