Yes, just a different animated gif for the season. I skipped the gobbling and went straight for being ho'd, snowed, frosted and pickled. Gee, that sounds more pointworthy than it is.

I think you cool weather shopped too early. It's going up again next week. I was so looking forward to turning my A/C off until March.

I forgot I had a doctor's appointment this morning until I told DH he had one and he said his was last week. Whoops! Then I remembered it's to get a blood pressure monitor on to see if my meds are working and I got all stressed out. DH said "Yeah, I bet that test is going to go real well." In the most sarcastic way possible. I also have to wear it for dance class tonight. That should be fun. Ok, having to do this test makes me feel so old. Though I know it's just bad genes mixed with 2 bad pregnancies and not age.

I saw Wicked yesterday! has anyone else seen it, I thought it was amazing!

Well hello everyone. Happy Veterens Day to all the Vets!!!

I managed to stay pretty busy over the weekend. I watched four movies so right there was a whole day.

Grumpy Pirate asked about Bug and whether it's the movie where Ashley Judd goes pyscho. Yes, that is the one. Disturbing movie, but very good. I also watched Mr. Brooks with Mel Gibson, Perfect Strangers with Halle Barry and Transformers with, well ... you know the movie.

Today was a rather typical Sunday night / Monday morning at work. I got out of there @ 7:30. I think I told you all that I am moving to day shift (7-3) pretty soon, very soon to cover 1st shift while that supervisor is out for maternity leave. Her due date is the 18th so it could be any day now. Wish me luck, ya'll. The next few months are going to be challenging. If you can imagine this, the folks on 1st are more raucous than the 10 men on 2nd. So please - cross your fingers and send pixie dust for success with my new endeavors.

I hope things are going well with all of you. I cannot believe Thanksgiving is next week. What are your plans? Are you hosting Thanksgiving at your house or going someplace else? What's on the menu / or what dish are you taking to someone else's place?

we are supposed to go to our family's Lake Winnipasauke house but my grandma is still in the nursing home so I'm probobly going to my aunts house for thanksgiving dinner.

We're going to WDW for Thanksgiving. We went the beginning of the week last year and it was horribly packed. I'm not really looking forward to going again. But it is for my grandfather's 80th birthday. We have to split our stay between Saratoga and Animal Kingdom (where the rest of the family will be.) We're having Thanksgiving dinner at Boma's. DH and I bought a small turkey to make this Sunday so we don't feel like we missed out on the traditional meal. I actually like making the Thanksgiving feast. It reminds me of holidays with my mom.
