Living with the Land in December

But I must say, having gone to Disney in December quite a few times over the year, I had done Living with the Land in the daytime mostly and when I finally did it at night, it was truly a spectacular experience and I couldn't believe I had never realized had much more magical it is then to experience the lights, so try to do it a couple of times if you can. I enjoy it in the sunshine as well, of course.

I agree with HopperFan, definitely see it at night. You could always try to see it both ways too. But with the bright Florida sun shining in the greenhouses, it’s difficult to see the lights there.

We have the Behind the Seeds tour during the day.
I never heard of the glimmering greenhouse tour so didn’t look for it. Now it’s too late 😞 to get reservations.
That’s really why I was wondering.

But it’s good to know that we can still see the glimmering greenhouse at night on the ride.
Are the lines long for LwtL at night during the Christmas season?

I was there Sunday, December 1st (Thanksgiving weekend) evening & the que was fairly full (the fullest I have ever seen it). Yes it's a moving trickling forward line, but it was a wait still. I was lucky & had a LL cause another ride had been down earlier in the day & they handed those out so waited less than 10 minutes. I seem to recall about 40 minutes being the posted standby time when I was there? I thought it was neat though & this year will plan better for it.

I found the following on the Disney website. "Catch the festive magic of Living with the Land – Glimmering Greenhouses from November 28 to December 30, 2025! During this time, Living with the Land will not be offered.". Does this mean that every night from 6:00 to 9:00 we cannot ride Living With the Land? That would mean that most of the night the ride is only available to a tiny group of people who were able to get reservations for the tour. Am I reading this correctly?

I believe it means that the “regular” Living With the Land is not available, meaning it will be the Glimmering Greenhouse version. It is a strange way of phrasing it. People don’t ride the attraction as part of the tour. I have the tour scheduled for 12/15 and hope to ride prior.
