Ack! I can't believe how fast this year is going by. Granted, I say that all the time. I'm just happy that a cool front is coming. We're having highs in the low 80's for the rest of the week.

Morning all! Cool weather has arrived in Florida!

We have highs in the low 80's and a low of 69. If this keeps up I may be able to turn my a/c off.

Aaack!...don't remind me!! I mean, WHERE did this month go?!! My DH is no help, either - on my way out the door this morning he says "Hey hon!....only 2 months til Christmas!" ....

Meanwhile, I'm not even ready for Halloween! I've got to fit in a stupid trip to Wal-Mart, soon! I hate living in East Overshoe....NOTHING is close by.

We have another house showing this Saturday. Why I agreed to a mid-morning showing I'll never know. It's our one day to relax and not have to jump out of bed for something!! And for some reason that escapes me, the people want to know all about being able to add on... Well, ok, I get the concept, but in this market where a buyer can take their pick of houses, why would you even be interested in something you have to add on to "to make it work" ??? Ugh. So, I had to e-mail my realtor the town's set-back requirements, then give her the basic set-backs for the existing house/garage so there is a reference point. I don't even want to move at this point (as in this year)...it's getting too close to winter and the holidays, and the thought of packing right now just makes me cringe!

I picked up a couple of extra hours at work today and tomorrow by going in early. Since it's a small company they do their own payroll, so we get paid on Friday for that week's work. Nice!

So how's everyone else today??

While packing may be a pain, in a few weeks you may rather be packing than sitting in a freezing house when you could be soaking up the sun down here.

Point well taken!! Thanks, I needed that. I would rather pack now than shovel snow later....!

I will see if I can find a pic of the boxes for y'all! And yes, I do really enjoy the job. It's fun and I look forward to going in every day.

It's another rainy day here. Thank goodness!! Just wish I didn't have to go out in it. Oh well, that's what big girl panties are for. Right?
They are through hanging the sheetrock in the new house. They just need to put up one more coat of mud and then sand. The cabinets are scheduled to be delivered on tuesday. The trim carpenter is also scheduled to come back next week.

Had to throw in a few myself!!
