So my new old job is working out o.k. but I have found a lot of stuff that the guy who I'm replacing, who replaced me did not do veyr much at all, so I have been doing a lot of putting out fires.

Hey everyone!! That expanding foam insulation is scary stuff. I'm overly tired which makes me grumpy and whiney. You guys make me smile though.

Smiley - Good to see you back too! I'll work more on my next part of the trip tomorrow. We got new bedroom furniture today and I've spent all day pulling clothes out and putting them away again. I did take the chance to throw out lots of stuff I haven't worn in years.

Good morning, all. I just got home from a ten hour shift. Yesteday my boss asked if I will cover for the 1st shift supervisor while she's on maternity leave. But they still need me on 3rd, so he asked me to work 1AM to 9AM to cover for her two hours a day. Then he asked if I would be willing to work 11 to 9 or 11 to 11. I should have known when they gave me a raise they were gonna ask for something in return.

Just kidding! I don't mind covering. I have wanted the opportunity to work on 1st 'cause there are some serious issues on that shift that need to be straightened out and I'm just the woman to do it. The only thing is I'm salaried and don't get paid overtime. However, the good thing about the company I work for is if I work ten or more hours in a day, I get paid straight time for anything after ten hours so at least I'll get something. Christmas is coming up, plus I want to go to Disney next year, so why not.

Any-who ... after work I stopped for gas. Normally I pay at the pump but today I decided to go in to buy lottery tickets. (Our state lottery is up to 52.5 million, no one has hit the jackpot since last October.) Not only did I walk out of there with lottery tickets, but they had the most delicious looking cheese danish. Mmmmmmmm ... it was so good!!

Hello all!

DeterminedOne - sounds like a good opportunity to straighten that place out and get Disney money to boot!

I went in to work this morning to meet about election coverage. I have to host 3 hours of coverage. Luckily, the longest stretch I'll have to cover is 5 minutes and the shortest is 1 minute. But I need to start working on my scripts now so I don't bumble like an idiot.

It will be definitly done for friday, because the contest ends then (hopefully we will fix it for tomorrow.

They are going. Life just got a little crazy there for a bit. Got pulled in to many directions. Things are calming down now though. Thanks for asking. How are you doing?

Smiley - although first shift would allow me to lead a normal life, I don't know if it's the shift I want to work. Sounds crazy I know, but there is so much drama on that shift. Besides, the work schedule is 7 to 3 - 7AM is sooo early. I don't know, we'll see.

Mean Queen - thanks for posting a TR with pics. Loved it! I am always amazed at the amount of people that can fit on one of those buses. Hopefully, you were the first/only stop and had the advantage of being the first one off. Glad to hear your little one enjoyed the characters and that the CM's accomodated your special invitation to see Minnie. Disney Magic.

Gotta go make dinner so I probably won't get to chat with you all until tomorrow. Have a lovely evening a nice day tomorrow.
