I've decided this is the "Seinfeld" thread!!:rotfl: We are a bunch of friends who like to hang out together but have absolutely nothing to really talk about except ourselves!!! :lmao: (specifically, our taglessness)

:lmao: Yeah! :)

But have faith. You never know it might happen. You just have to hang in there with us. We can be as witty as any other thread. :lmao: (sometimes, if we try really hard.:lmao: )

Just not witty enough to get a tag. :confused3

Hey ya'll. Since I really don't have anything to talk to ya'll about I'm gonna just talk about myself. ....boring. I'd rather talk about ya'll.:lmao: :lmao:

It's thundering BIG time here right now! The kids just went to bed but you know they're not sleeping!! We need some rain though so I hope it's not just a lot of noise and no results. No, wait!...I hear rain now! Good. Wow, now it's pouring!!

Before the sun went down I was on the deck watching the sky get real dark, and the weird thing was, the wind was whipping around down here but the clouds were not moving one bit. Ooky...

Just glad we didn't get one of these!

You should live down here. The Tampa Bay area/Central Florida is the lightning capital of the U.S.. We have some crazy storms. They come and go quick (unless it's part of a hurricane.) It can be raining on one side of the street and not the other.

I guess you have your hurricane drill down pat. At least I hope you do. I live 33 miles off the coast. But we have been very fortunate in SC.

Wake up all you Tagless people!
It's FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

And if you live in the U.S....

It's a holiday weekend!

Or, if you prefer, you could celebrate this one!

Morning all! I'm looking forward to our 3 day weekend. We're heading to WDW for a quick trip on Sunday. We're staying in a new 1-bedroom at the Animal Kingdom Villas. I'll have to take lots of pictures to show off the "new" resort. We plan to go to Epcot one day to finally see our "Leave a Legacy" photos on the big wall.

Labor Day, the first Monday in September, is a creation of the labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers. It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country.

The First Labor Day

The first Labor Day holiday was celebrated on Tuesday, September 5, 1882, in New York City, in accordance with the plans of the Central Labor Union. The Central Labor Union held its second Labor Day holiday just a year later, on September 5, 1883.

In 1884 the first Monday in September was selected as the holiday, as originally proposed, and the Central Labor Union urged similar organizations in other cities to follow the example of New York and celebrate a "workingmen's holiday" on that date. The idea spread with the growth of labor organizations, and in 1885 Labor Day was celebrated in many industrial centers of the country.

Must be nice to be able to whisk off to WDW for a night. I'm sure the AK Villas are just as gorgeous as the lodge - can't wait to see your pics. Have fun!

Hey Yzerbear19 I just noticed your trip counter - I'm originally from just north of Boston!

What sort of things do you have planned for your trip? Great area to visit!
