 Hi there! No tag here and I'm almost to 1000 posts!

I'm over 1,000 and most people here are too I think. I don't think the TF bases who they tag off of how many posts they have, we just need to be funny...looking ;) Just kidding.

 Hi there! No tag here and I'm almost to 1000 posts!

Howdy! We've all decided the Tag Fairy is very random. I've seen people with thousands of posts and no tags, and others with just 200 who have multiple tags... Just not fair, I know.:sad2: However, we all remain hopeful and in the meantime we have a whole lot of fun on this thread!!

Hey Yzerbear19 I just noticed your trip counter - I'm originally from just north of Boston!

What sort of things do you have planned for your trip? Great area to visit!
We're flying into Manchester, NH because it was $60 less per ticket than Boston. We will be staying in Danvers, but most of the trip is dedicated to Salem. We have one day in Boston planned as well as a short trip over to Concord to see Ralph Waldo Emerson's house and grave as well as the battleground. This will be our first Revolutionary War battleground. We've been to several Civil War battlefields. We may also take a short trip up to Maine since neither my sister or I have ever been to Maine. In fact we've never been to NH, MA, or ME. So we will both get to cross off 3 more states of our lists. Its going to be very busy, but I'm sure it will be lots of fun. :) While in Boston we are going to do the Freedom Trail, which I'm very excited about. I've always wanted to go to to Boston and Salem, so I'm really looking forward to this trip. We had thought about going to WDW, but none of our friends wanted to go so we changed it to Salem/Boston. I'm hoping the weather will be nice and the leaves will have changed some. I love autumn! I can't believe how quickly the time is flying by. It will be time to leave before we know it.

You should have some great foliage in another month. I'm sad to say (in terms of summer ending!) that we already have some Birch trees dropping yellow leaves and the small "swamp" Maples are turning reds and oranges (we're in southwest NH). End of September is usually peak up in the mountains and plenty of color down in the hills and where you'll be. I hope it's a good year for it! Have a great time!:goodvibes

Must be nice to be able to whisk off to WDW for a night. I'm sure the AK Villas are just as gorgeous as the lodge - can't wait to see your pics. Have fun!

It is one of the benefits of braving the heat and humidity of Florida. Though I am getting a bit jealous of all this talk of fall and changing leaves. The only change in leaves we get is from alive to dead. And it won't be cooling down here for a few months. :confused3

Well, just when it cools down here and gets real pretty and the fairs start up and people just generally want to get outdoors, the yellow jackets come out (in force...!) and they are nasty little buggers. My DS5 got stung on the face the other day doing nothing more than jumping on our trampoline (and no, there is no nest nearby). They sting without warning and without reason!!! Do you guys deal with those down there? How about Deer flies?....do you have those?? They are the bane of a northern summer. They just hover around you and bounce off your head looking for a place to land and BITE. I've dealt with armies of mosquitoes in Alaska and the Yukon and would take that any day over Deer flies and yellow jackets.

Have a good quick trip to Disney, this would be a great holiday weekend if I had that to look forward to! All I have planned is lots of painting, courtesy of DBF!! Have a good weekend everyone!

No yellow jackets or Deer flies (at least not in the urban/city areas.) We have bees and wasps, but I've never been stung by one. We do get bad mosquitoes and red ants. Other than that most people complain about our harmless lovebugs, lizards, and roaches. None of those bite, but they do creep people out.

Belle's Mom - painting sure doesn't sound like a lot of fun. I see you sell PC, I do too! I took a (long) break and went inactive, but I'm trying to start it back up again. I'm excited about some of the new fall products. Sadly, I didn't earn any because I was inactive all Summer.

Are we allowed to put a link to a business site in our sigs?? (I'm not trying to be the DIS police, it's just an honest question!:scared: ). For some reason I never did that cuz I didn't think I could. But I see the PC link, SO!...if it's ok then I've got a scrap booking company I'd love to put a link in for. I just signed on a month or so ago but you can't have too much exposure, esp. when any income you get from it will help pay for that next trip!

Hello my fellow taglss Dissers. Hope your friday is just wonderful on your side of the monitor.

I'm having major Disney withdrawal right now!:scared:

I've been streaming soundtracks and ride audios on Live365 all day, which is nothing new, but for some reason today I'm really missing the Magic! Our trip was last September and I'm coming up on that 1-yr. anniversary, so maybe that's it. But I've already informed DH that I've lived off that high since last year, and it's wearing off so it's time to start planning next year's trip!:rotfl: As soon as I have that $200 deposit in the bank, I'm booking with Dreams Unlimited! And, if we end up moving down before that time, it'll save me the airfare!!

I wanna go back!!!!!!

LegoMom- I've seen many people with links for different business which is the only reason I added my link. If I can't have it someone please let me know, I didn't think it would be a problem.

MeanQueen- I just started my business in May and I decided to go to National Conference in July which was awesome!! Only problem is that in a month I will start another long-term substitute position and I am afraid I won't feel like doing too much PC. I guess we'll have to see. I love the new fall stuff though, cranberry is me!

Ok, I'm going to be revamping my sig in the next week or so, and I'll probably add mine in! As per my last post above, I REALLY need to get this next trip booked!!!:thumbsup2

I noticed a couple of trees in our area starting to change. I love all the pretty colors. I hate raking up the leaves, but they are so beautiful when still on the tree. I'm sure we will have lots of fun. Hopefully we don't get lost! I'm a little nervous to drive out East, but it should be fine. I've gotten quite good at driving in Chicago and have driven in Washington DC and from Michigan to Florida. We're taking the train from Salem to Boston to avoid driving there.

My sister and I will be missing our family reunion. :woohoo: Oh darn! And since our brother from Detroit is taking us to the airport he will also be missing it! Darn. We are all just so heartbroken. :rolleyes1 My sister and I are also going to miss out on our one cousin's bridal shower. We don't really know this cousin well at all, so I don't feel bad. I don't think I've seen this cousin in 15+ years. So we timed our trip perfectly!!! ;) :lmao:

I'm so bored right now. I'm the only one left in my department until 7:00. For some reason the last several Fridays have been completely boring and just seem to drag by. Oy.

I've paged through most of these posts and after looking at the "join" dates, methinks I shall heretofore be known as:

Oldest Living Tagless DIS'er......... (sigh) countin' down since 1999!!!! :rotfl2:

Oh my! And I thought close to 2 years without a tag was bad!!!

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: OMG JulielovesDisney, I am dying over your self-tag!!!!!!!!

Happy Saturday Tagless Dis'ers! Hope you all have a great weekend. I've got lots of laundry :laundy: to do before we head out for our quick trip to WDW. :mickeyjum Even though it's one night, we'll need clean clothes for when we come back. Hope you all have a great weekend (an extended one for those of us in the US.)
