Retired and still having work stress dreams?

Nope .. walked out the door 13 years ago and never looked back or missed it … no dreams good or bad ..felt like a huge weight lifted off my shoulders …
Good for you!
I retired in 2020 from my public housing job (customer service basically). Had been working from home 3 days out of 5, some things just have to be done face to face. The first few weeks, I felt weird about not logging in at the same time every morning, now I just have the occasional dream about work. You know, those "I should've said/done" moments. They're fading, though.

I retired pretty young. My work nightmares lasted about 15 years or longer. Always the same. I was a court reporter and the dream was that I forgot paper for my machine so had to remember every single word said. The variation was me running from office to office asking people if they had any paper.

I’m sorry you’re dealing with this, tvguy. Some jobs really take it out of you.

You had a job where you had to be totally alert and think fast too. I was Jury Duty in October and the court reporter had a huge issue with the Defense attorney......she frequently had to tell him to slow down!
