Thanks for the well wishes everyone. We are headed out to a nice restaurant at 6:00. Oh, and we didn't get the six to eight inches of snow that was predicted.

I wonder if the Tag Fairy knows it's my birthday.

We are staying at Port Orleans Riverside. We LOVE the resort, but it's also the most economical option for our family of 5.

And that, of course, is if we don't end up moving first!! I can't wait for the day when I can say, "Oh, I think we'll run over to the World this weekend..."

Someone did drive by the house yesterday; stopped for a moment, then backed up a bit and stopped again. With all the rain and melting we've had, people are definitely thinking spring and I think they'll start coming out in droves with an improvement in the weather!

Speaking of running to the World... We ran to Epcot on our way home from visiting our friends in Orlando. My DD said she wanted to go there as a reward for Honor Roll. We did the new Spaceship Earth again and they've added more since we were there for the test run a month ago. It was even better! They use your picture in the interactive video at the end. It was so cute. We can't wait to go back for Spring Break in a few weeks and spend more time. My DD has big tests this week, so we didn't stay long. It was perfect weather today for being at the park and not too crowded. I'll post pics after I upload.

Speaking of running to the World... We ran to Epcot on our way home from visiting our friends in Orlando. My DD said she wanted to go there as a reward for Honor Roll. Good Monday morning!

I have a day off from work; they are just packing and shipping the last big order that we finished on Friday. Tomorrow we'll start a new order. So I've been sitting here with DH looking at our pics from our last trip (I've set them as my screen saver!). It is SO cold here this morning and we're enjoying all the pictures of heat and humidity...

So, I let my TA know about what restaurants we want if Free Dining comes out! Here is our plan:

Arrival day - no TS (pooling the credit for Hoop-de-Doo!)
Wed. - lunch at Sci-Fi Dine In
Thurs. - breakfast at Crystal Palace (EMH at MK that morning!)
Fri. - Hoop-de-Doo!!
Sat. - dinner at Boma
Sun. - dinner at Garden Grill
Mon. - dinner at Chef Mickey's (we did b-fast there last time but I want to try that dessert bar!)

If we don't get Free Dining I'm going to have to pick one of those, and we'll do counter service the rest of the time.

And as fun as it is to plan a big trip like this, I STILL would love to be able to "run to Epcot" when the whim strikes!!!!

Your plans sound great! My DD keeps begging to go back to Hoop De Doo. But because of the cost, we haven't been for years. We have friends who want to go, so I think when we camp at the Fort next January, we'll try Hoop De Doo. Though I think my veggie friends will have to sit out the fried chicken fest. Yummy! We're eating at the castle for the very first time when we go in a few weeks for Spring Break. There are still always new things to try.

I had a really tough day yesterday, for some reason. Today has been fine, although I'm still adjusting to the light at dinnertime! I'm used to starting dinner as it's getting dusk. Now that's too late to wait! Can't wait til the weather warms up to go along with these longer days...

I was very surprised that my kids adjusted quickly to the change. I think it's partly because DD8 had a sleepover on Saturday and barely slept and DD1 didn't nap well when we went to Epcot.

I feel the same way - but it was nice when I left work after six and it was daylight. Bittersweet, I guess.
