Nothing interesting. Spent too long grocery shopping at a few different stores, picked my daughter up from work and came home to make supper. After supper I walked the dogs and picked up dog poop. Then I quickly ran inside trying to avoid the lightening. Not a very interesting day, but at least I didn't get struck by lightening. That always makes it a good day.
I remember those teenage summers. Sleeping in until 1 p.m., doing nothing but talking on the phone with friends, hanging at the mall.
We're headed for the free movies today. The theater does older family movies for free at 10 a.m. 3 days a week in the Summer. This will be a great chance to see if my DD2 will sit for a movie. I know one thing that will help...

DH has Mr. Incredible on his shirt, and I have Mrs. on mine. I wanted to put on the back of mine: "I am your Greater Good!" You know, I never saw dead people. And I no longer see chocolate.

I love a good thunderstorm... We can keep the windows open a bit here, so you can really hear it and smell the warm, rainy air.

The most amazing lightning I've ever seen was over Tampa Bay while on my way to the airport very early in the morning (pre-dawn)... Just like the stuff you see in a picture somewhere!
Lightning is amazing but I have a healthy fear of it.

It's only about a mile and most of it is in the shade.

My mom is complaining because I let DD ride her bike in the heat to the pool. She's 12. My kid doesn't care for pete's sake. My mom wants to borrow a bike and make me ride in the heat to the pool. I told her go ahead, as long as I have water I don't care. I may keel over from a heart attack with all of the exercise.
