I am frustrated and exhausted from checking SWA 8 times a day. DH and I checked out Pan American and Allegiant Air. Their prices from portsmouth, NH to sanford, fl were not that expensive and had flights for the days we want to travel (Feb 16-26) however, they do not have the best track record for maintaining their schedule and even keeping the flight. We have friends that have traveled Pan American 3 times (two of which had their flight completely canceled for no reason or explanation.). I fear that we will once again be driving to FL

We booked with them for our thanksgiving cruise back in Feb. of last year, for some reason I tought to check the flights in June and they no longer even fly to or from our home airport. They didn't feel it was important to tell us, I got the letter a few weeks ago after I already booked on southwest and reported the panam charge to my CC. I would be VERY warey of them, Here I am five weeks out and they only informed me now I had no flight

Okay. I bought my air on a different airline. Rates were jumping all over, so I finally just booked what I could live with and got good times, etc. Now that I've purchased air, SWA is bound to open up the rest of February any time now. Good luck to the rest of you more patient people.

Some people to not have a lot of patience do they!

When we booked last year it was not until Dec 8 that I got the $29 flights from Buffalo to Orlando for the end of January.

I already booked our upcoming January flights a few weeks ago for $49. I have yet to book a return though. I am holding out and am certain a good deal will come!

Good things come to those who wait! At least I hope!

I, too, am getting tired of waiting. We usually fly Delta out of Columbus and I will book for mid February soon if SWA doesn't release their rates. I already have Delta for Dec and next June---was hoping to get a better rate with SWA for Feb but will book in the next week even if SWA rates aren't released.

I'm giving SWA til Thursday! We will be going Pres. Week and need the 'good flights'. Flying Airtran out of ROC is closer for us.

Feb 3rd. Its cheaper than last weeks, $19.00 difference. So, I figure I will book it tomorrow around 6:00pm. I am giving SW till than for after Feb 3rd.

The fare sounds good to me. I mean, even if SWA comes out with a $49.00 DING (which I haven't seen many of to MCO lately) you wouldn't be paying much more. I know what you mean about the non-stops though. I feel the same way.

I was all set to buy my tickets for independence air yesterday. From what I've been reading about them, they're pretty close to filing bankruptcy. Now from what I've read, they might go chapter 7. I decided not to purchase my tickets. I don't want to chance it. I'll continue to wait for SW. Independence does have some good rates right now, but with my luck as soon as i buy my tickets, they'll decide to liquidate! Good luck to all. Maybe SW will stop playing games and release their dates soon.
