SWA FEB Watch LIST (Feb/march is open)

I check so many times a day, I'll probably lose my job for abuse of internet time. :earseek:

Here's to hoping they release tonight at 6:00 pm so we can all get on with our lives!! :genie:

I'm still with y'all. Just as an observer though. It's like I'm invested in this. The very tickets I bought on Delta yesterday are now $40 more, so I'm happy I bought when I did. I feel like I'm watching a wreck, but I'm sure SWA will steer ya out of it and you'll all get $39 fares.

I'd normally say "from your lips to God's ears", but in this case it's "from your fingers to SWA's computer"! LOL!:rotfl:

At this rate, I figure I have a better chance to hit the PowerBall jackpot tomorrow than for SWA to finally release the new dates. Then again, if I hit the $240M, I guess I wouldn't have to worry about SWA, would I??? :cool1:

How frustrating to check all day long every day and nothing... How much longer do we have to suffer?? Gee whiz....

SWA site is loading VERY slow for me this morning...anyone else??

No, It loads quickly for me, but still has that "now accepting res.thru FEB.3rd"!!!! I am about to :badpc: ! Sorry just tired of waiting!!! Joan

LOL....It's definitely loading slow for me...maybe they're finally doing "something" there.

Loads quickly for me.
As a software developer, I can't see any reason that extending the schedule would cause the site to be slow.

But I sure hope they do it soon. And hopefully they make it at least through the end of March.

I bet I could walk to Orlando before they release these fares.

Take this for what it's worth----I had to call SWA regarding an already booked flight and connected with a very nice customer service rep. While she was assisting me, I asked her if she knew when we could expect an extension of the Feb 3rd booking date and she told me "probably not until the end of the month"

Again, this was one rep's comments and I have no idea if she knows facts or is guessing.

Unless Southwest can really WOW us with their rates, we have decided to drive. I am so sick of this airfare game.

I gave up! I booked our March trip with Delta. I couldn't take the stress any more, now all I have to do is book our ADRs at the 90 day mark.

Well, I don't need air for Feb, but I can tell you this about my recent sept trip. SW didn't open up bookings for my dates until May 12. I don't know about the last release dates, but the May one and the one before were released on Thursdays around 10am.

Anyway, our trip was 9/17-9/24, so SW air opened up around 4 months pre-trip. When it opened up, prices were a little steep, so I waited a week or 2 for a Ding deal before booking. I actually cancelled and rebooked a total of 5 times before locking in on a $59 deal on July 5, only 2 1/2 months prior to our trip! There were 2 occasions I had credits, and by calling SW long distance #, I got refunded to my cc over $450!!!

So, stay strong people. It pays off! Good Luck all.

Is that typical to have the rate be higher when it is first released? Maybe today will be the day for SW to release more rates.

I think SW may be making a HUGE mistake this time. Alot of people have been waiting, but the simple truth of it is, the middle of February through April is a VERY busy travel season, and people don't want to take the chance. Plus, people like to have everything taken care of and out of the way.

I have a $90 credit through SW, and even I am about ready to say to hell with them. If the rates aren't out for travel dates in February by next Friday, I'm done - I'll book through either Song or Jet Blue.
