My DH and DS had Ticketless Funds that expired in January. Four of us will be flying 11/30 and 12/7. I'd like to extend those funds and use them for that trip, but in order to do that, I'd have to wait until at least 5/30 to extend them. Meanwhile, I'm a little nervous about the flight prices and availability for 11/30 disappearing. (That's the Saturday after Thanksgiving.) Can I buy tickets now, and then on/after 5/30 (after I extend) cancel that itinerary and rebook using the vouchers? Will this "save" the same price for me? Or at least "save the seats" for me? (I'd have two tabs open so I can do the switch quickly.) Other thoughts? I know that when I cancel that original itinerary, I'd then have travel funds to use. Aaarrggh!
I'm assuming, also, that the vouchers (there are two, $215 and $35) can be used by two people on separate tickets. The tickets are $167. Could I use part of the $215 on one ticket, and the rest on a second ticket (not on the same itinerary)?
