Survivor Thailand! (Possible Spoilers)

Plus the preview showed someone going for another person's throat!! It looks like a really interesting episode!!

It also looked like the opposing teams get physical with each other in the next challenge.:earseek:

Ugh! I really wish the underdog would win for once! I'm tired of watching my favorite teams being picked off one by one every season. :(

Next week looks rather tense. I'm predicting the scream was because they'll lose again and Ghandia is just so frustrated, the "sexual advances" is going to blow over rather quickly, and the "going at each other's throat" is in play.

I think that would have been a huge mistake if they had voted off Helen just because "she gets on my nerves"...It was too bad that Tanya was sick, but good that they voted her off...she looked a little green towards the end...:(

I do hope that Ghuay Gahn will win Immunity next week...they certainly deserve too...they have been coming so close!

Great episode tonight though! :)

Neat show, except I also wanted ChewyGum team to win something!! How exciting is next week's previews! Even Hubby said that it looks like it will be an exciting show to see!

I tell ya, I read that in the third week's episode there is a big rebellion and even Jeff Probst is attacked. I think it has to do with that challenge they previewed. Very physical and evidentally they have to knock people off floating piers in the water and it looked as if one of the big good-looking guys was choking that poor little old guy from the old team (is his name Clay?). I don't care for that little guy much myself...but give me a break - It looked like he was being murdered!!! I wonder if someone gets hurt by another on this very physical challenge and the tribal members get mad at Jeff because of it.

dkurtz - Yes, I did do recaps of the Early Show interviews for the previous Survivors but I had to work last Friday and again tomorrow! BUT! Next Friday I am off and have to hang around anyway waiting for some electrical inspection so I will be sure to check out and post any good stuff coming from the interview following next week's exciting show.

I'm glad Helen was not voted out. I like her. Still too confused about who is who on the other team.

Yeah! What Tulirose said!!! :)

Did anyone notice them when they were laying in the sand, I think after they lost the immunity challenge? She was laying with her hand resting up on the inside of his thigh. I was thinking-I thought she was married-what is she doing. And then when the previews came on and she's accusing him something. Next week should be good.

I am sad to see Tanya go, because she is such a sweetheart. But she kept getting sick, so...I guess it is for the better. The preview for next week is very intriguing...

I am really hoping that with the one team losing so many challenges already, that it won't end up so lopsided like last season :( I think the older team definitely has it in them to win, they just need a little more OOOMPF!

I was sad to see Tanya go, she was young and could have brought alot to the team had she not been so ill all the time. I definitely think Jan needs to go, she doesn't really offer much to the tribe and she irritates me, LOL.

Next week looks VERY interesting!

Fun show but I hope that they focus a little more on the "young" team next week. I can't figure out who is who over there!

I like the "older" team the best but I am trying to be loyal and root for Penny too. Even if she did cause her teammates to run into a few trees. ;)

I can't stand the younger team.... how obnoxious they all are. Jan does bring one thing to the team.... did you see her swim last night? She's a strong swimmer. So far Ted is my favorite.... Ghandia bugs me as much as Helen bugs her.

LynnM, I noticed Ghandia's hand on his thigh too. I though it seemed a little too "familiar" for people that have only known each other a few days. I noticed he didn't have his hands on her at all. Maybe she is the one sexually harassing him! LOL!

I agree with Mermaid02, the younger team is definitely obnoxious.

It was really a toss up with who they voted off. I was really surprised that Jan didn't get any votes. They lost the immunity challenge because of her mistake. Well, she wasn't the only reason but she did booboo. And the water trip. Good grief!

And I can't believe the younger team is STILL working on shelter.

Well, it's was a good show anyway. And next week looks good too.

Somehow it doesn't seem right that the younger team wins everything when they're so disorganized and out of touch with each other. I really like the older team and was sorry to see Tanya go last night. From what they've shown, Helen doesn't seem like she's really annoying - kind of like Hunter from last season. Oh well; guess I have to wait for next week for someone from the young team to go. Robb is really annoying. If someone from the old team doesn't win, I hope it's Shii Ann - she's got smarts!

LynnM and Jeafl: I saw what you saw. Definitely Ghandia was way too familiar with him. One good thing, it's all on tape and the truth will come out whatever it may be.

I read an internet chat with Jeff Probst and Jeff said that this group of people were the most verbally and physically aggressive group he has encountered. He also said that he felt that the Thai climate had a lot to do with it. It was so humid during the day and rained every night that everyone's was zapped of their energy and optimism.

Jed's comment to Stephanie about a shelter being frivilous I found utterly ridiculous...and she concurred...did they leave their brains at home? Then when they chose to sleep on the sand, it was he who ended up sleeping in that frivilous shelter when it poured.

good eyes everyone! The Survivor editing crew can be pretty sly but they can't get too much past some eagle-eyed Disers.

If someone from the old team doesn't win, I hope it's Shii Ann - she's got smarts!

Amy-Did you see how she dumbed down her occupation from "Executive Recruiter" to "I help people find jobs." Hilarious!

I was pretty mad that Jan wasn't voted off - she seems to bumble and stumble her way around... but I guess I can see the tribe's point in voting off Tanya. It was quite sweet that they threw the party for Helen. It's those little things that make it more tolerable out there, I guess.
I'm sick already of the "ubertribe" winning all the challanges so far... only a few stick out in my mind as tolerable (mostly Shii Ann). I always get angry when the poo-poo heads win and the "good guys" lose out. They'll get their time, though...
I'm anxious to see this free-for-all clash next week - what do you bet if it's the reward challange, that nobody will receive the reward. If it's the immunity challange, then... they'll decide it on who completed most of the task first or whatever.
As for Ghandia and Whatshisface... I noticed her casual hand on his thigh, but I will wait and see before making a judgement on that. It's an intimate community, we've all seen "closeness" between tribemates on past shows. I'll just have to see for myself how that issue plays out.

I thought Ghandia's hand was a bit much too.

I wondered what Tenessee did to get two votes - he seems strong and not too obnoxious. I couldn't imagine why Jan would think her vote "needed to be done for the good of the group". I just want to shake her and tell her the group needs strong people!

Helen does seem to upset fairly easily, but not enough to be such a bother. She's strong - they need to keep her. I thought it was funny when she was so ticked at Jan being in the water floating while she was working. Jan seems nice and probably would've come running had she asked her to come help. Sometimes independent people set themselves up to get no help - arrogance like taking off without a map . Jan was probably trying to stay out of her way after sensing how upset Helen was with her in the boat!

I didn't get to see Tanya's interview this morning. I wish I had. I'm sure she understands that her teammates were worried about her.

All the challenges have been so close!

Too bad Tanya was so sick.I don't think Ghandia understands Helen.Helen isn't a bad person.I think she is very focused. If I had to vote for someone on that team it would have to be the old lady with the pigtails.Next week looks like it all falls apart on the chewing gum team

I have to agree with Dan. I think if Tanya wasn't so sick that she would have stayed a little longer. And I too am suprised that Jan didn't get any votes. I am routing for the underdog older crew, I sure hope they can win something next week.

I thought that once Helen and Jan found the "right" beach that they were to takes turns going after the water.

My mom watched the Early Show and said that Tonya lost 15 pounds during the 6 days she was there. Also, during the immunity challenge, she blames their not winning on herself. We didn't see it but she sat down most of the time on the seat and tried to keep her team from running into things, whilst on the other team the girl (name?) stood the whole time and repeatedly ran her team into things, her goal to get done first.
