Survivor Thailand! (Possible Spoilers)

to see John voted off. At first, after Ghandia messed up on the challenge, I thought she was a goner, but then when I saw how people were being sympathetic to her I knew she'd be staying. I thought they might vote off the sick girl, the one who vomited a couple of times, can't remember her name. I don't know who I'm picking to win yet, will watch another episode or two before I make my choice. But I'm glad it's back!!! :D :D

I was kind of annoyed at the woman who voted for Clay because he didn't need the money as much as some others or some such baloney. Hey, does she really know how well off he is? Or isn't? I really didn't like that at all!

Annie&Hallie'sMom!

I agree w/you-I don't appreciate that kind of discrimination-it seemed a somewhat spiteful move on her part this early in the game...

I have a feeling Clay might be a VERY fun member of the team-I loved the way Ted(the giant of a software developer) was carrying the somewhat diminutive Clay around-playful and cute!

Oh-I've posted on the CBS Survivor popularity poll-the results are not QUITE in sync with my own-but we'll see...

Great show! I too am not a big Robb fan. Looks like there'll be a lot of places to skateboard on the island, huh? Anyone else think he looked like a Tommy Lee wanna-be??

This was the best 1st episode I've seen! I love
their boats. How come they didn't use the boats
for some shelter?
I think it is too. And what a great point about the boats!:)

I just finished watching my first episode.....WOW....I am hooked all over again. What a pretty location! I was suprised they voted off John too, but I guess they all thought he was a little too head strong and I know his little joke about the water didn't go over too well.

:bounce::wave::bounce:

SeaShelly - I kept saying the same thing! My DH and I were watching together and I kept telling him that guy was a Tommy Lee lookalike -- especially in that knit cap.

I was surprised they voted off the person they did. Even if he was an arrogent SOB he would be strong in the challenges I thought. I thought they would vote off Tanya, the girl who was sick.

I thought they would vote off the girl who got sick, too. And I was also calling the tribe Chewing Gum! The *other* tribe I was calling Soup Spoon! :) I can't believe I'm gonna be hooked on yet another Survivor!!!!!

:smooth: I think it's interesting how each show the contestants get nastier and nastier with each other quicker and quicker !! The bartender was already done with the "senior" woman leader and didn't want to make eye contact 5 minutes into the show. I predict the group of "physically fit youngsters" will eventually crash and burn ......I'm going with the Navy swim instructor. I think she's going to fly below the radar and that she knows how to survive in this type of environment.

It'll be interesting to see if the challenges mirror the challenges from past shows, like they usually do. People will be rooting for the "older" tribe and I'm wondering if they will try to tailor some of the challenges in favor of that tribe. I wonder if they'll do the switcheroo this time--it was a surprise to both of Africa and Marquesas, but it's something these people should be thinking about.

I had to laugh when John thought an alliance ousted him--no need for an alliance to do that!

Loved it!:D They didn't waste any time on this first episode. I loved how they picked the tribes. I'd hate to be sitting there waiting to be picked, but it was sure fun to watch!

I thought Robb looked like Tommy Lee too.:D I want to see how he will use that skateboard.

Sometimes I wonder IF they think at all. One of the teams was really challenged by rowing. If I were going to be on that show, I'd make sure I could start a fire from scratch AND learn to row!!! They don't seem to learn much from previous episodes, do they???

Tommy Lee

He's a rocker but I actually don't know that much more other than he married Pam Anderson of Baywatch fame.

Thanks! Since I still don't recognize him, at least I'll have a face to recall when I see his name.

Oh I might have to check out Survivor the next time it's on. That Robb looks cute ;)

According to the previews that ran right at the end of the show, they're rebroadcasting this first episode sometime saturday night (for you folk who missed it).

Oh yea! I missed the only chance to see the guy from my hometown (John from Slidell LA). I'm soooooooooooooo proud  . I wonder where he got that accent -- certainly not from Slidell! Does anybody know what denomination his church is? I have a good guess.

I just hope it doesn't come on at the same time as BB3.
