We loved to sit out on that veranda, and to have breakfast with the view of that beautiful island was wonderful.

Day 19, August 31

Cabana 19

We had booked a Cabana, Cabana 19 on Serenity Bay and had been surprised with this model the day before.

Now, it was time to check out the real thing and discover all the goodies left behind for us!

Unlimited chips and granola bars (just tell your cabana host you need more )

Yummy fruit

and

and a fridge FULL of drinks (all of these were ours!!!!) and non edible, but non the less coming in very handy, cool towels!

Ann, the Cabana was awesome! We are not used to being SO pampered. We had a Cabana host who, once he found out we would not use the bell for him, checked in on us ever so often.
The walk to the barbeque station would have been 3 minutes I guess and he insisted on driving us and the end of the day was super magical ... don't want to take too much away from my trip report.

My gosh, that rabbit looks so real!!! Hope you are having a Magical Easter!

I am waiting for Sophia to wake and begin the hunt for her baskets...oh, yes, more than one. I put the baskets together for Mia this morning and it was clear we both forget one of the most important items - a new stuffed bunny! We usually keep the candy to a minimum and add little Easter/Spring toys and a rabbit....but this year it is almost all candy...it is going to be quite a day...we'll have to hide most the of goodies pretty quick...poor kid. Later, after she is dressed in her Easter finery we will have a little egg hunt in the front and back yards.

Day 19, August 31

Castaway Air Bar

Later this morning we decided we needed a drink. One of the Cast Members who walk up and down the beach brought us these wonderful concoctions.

Konk Koolers! Light Rum, Dark Rum, Orange Juice, Cream of Coconut , Passion Fruit Juice. Very fruity and sweet, cold and yummy.

Next up - Serenity Bay Barbeque station

The Cabana was such a special treat - costly, but wonderful to have somewhere to retreat, get changed (there is a tiny "changing room") and a freshwater shower. There is even your personal hammock!

For us room service breakfast at CC is a wonderful way to start the day, especially if we can sit out on the veranda enjoying it with the view of CC in the background!

Day 19, August 31

Serenity Bay Barbeque station

Around midday our Cabana Host came asking if we didn't want to head to lunch. We had first thought of just walking down along the beach, but since our host was already here to take us .......

The barbeque station at Serenity Bay is really nice. Since there are not so many people there it is always quiet and you can easily find a table.

We both got plates and then filled them with lots

yummy salads, they have all kinds there, Greek Salad, Potato Salad, Coleslaw and many more and we both got some ribs, which were cooked perfectly with the meat falling off the bone!

There were too many yummy things, and Tom went back for a

freshly grilled burger, which he enjoyed very much.

I just wanted some "dessert" ...... and here they are, the famous

Chocolate Chip Cookies, well, at least what's left of them, since we both seemed to be too eager to dig in.

Your Easter pics made me smile, which is quite something as I am feeling very poorly (bad head cold made worse by getting just in time for a long weekend, sigh!).

What I wouldn't do for one of those lovely cocktails right now (not that I could taste it).
