I thought the episode was great, although I thought I was watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer for the first few minutes (those of you who are BTVS fans will know what I mean).

LOL! You're right! I think I was just so happy it was on again that I forgot all about that.

Best moment of the night was Dean and Sam in the car again for the first time.

AC/DC intro was so cool.......

The first scene was killer. Coming out of the grave. I have to say this......

I was hoping it was the devil that did it. My dd is sitting there telling me it was an angel and I was debating her saying that I cannot believe that they would introduce God and they did it.
Interesting twist. Although...I am perhaps a little disappointed that it wasn't the devil. I hope to heck that they can make that good. Albeit that is my speciality so it better be unique.

Ruby.....So what was the thing with Sam and Ruby? I really did not "get it". Also Sam and Dean discussed Ruby and Sam failed to mention he is working with her. And that he has been working on his powers. Hmmmmm.....

So we are debating who is Sam. He sent a demon back and so now we are debating good/evil. Will it be a Sam/Dean showdown or are they going to work together?
Not looking good for working together. Bobby/Dean and Ruby/Sam doing their own thing.

I have to admit I am a little nervous at the direction. Generally in the Arc-angel lore, they are not concerned with humans. So it is going to be a balance beam for us "Prophecy"-type fans.

Burning out the psychic's eyes was probably the most horrific part of the show.
I know they wanted to allude to the devil, which it did. But an angel buring out a humans eyes? That is a little evil, you know? Are we sure he is "from God"?

Anyway...great show. Best work they have ever done.

Ok...warning you, this is one of my "genres".

So......

1) God cannot "command" a person out of hell, unless God forgives him and pulls him to heaven, not earth.
So, God would have to make a deal with the devil in order for this to be "valid". (Ala "Constantine") Plausible.

2) The "angel" Castillo, is really the devil. Afterall the devil is an angel, the first one. This would explain the burning eyes (not seeing true form) and the explanation as to why Dean was put back on earth...aka to fight Lillith.

3) They are creating a "new hell rule" that God can command someone out of hell. Which as we always have viewed it as the devil has dominion over those souls, not God. If they are going this route I hope that they do it in a believable way to get over the "Hell Rules".

I didn't think about it, but yes it does remind me a bit of BTVS.

I thought the show was great. I am very excited to see where they go this season. I'm just hoping they don't make Sammie a baddie. I do think one thing needed to change about the show, Dean needed to show EVERYONE that he had no scars on his chest. Over and over again.

That would go along with the storyline although going to the CW site they are touting "good VS evil"....

Here is the thing..."Supernatural" hinges on the "contracts" with the demon thing, right?

So they have got to explain the fundamental fact that the devil has a "contract" on a sinners soul with God.
That is HELL 101.

I can see where Dean would be "forgiven" however as that is a ticket into heaven, not earth, and in his mortal body no less.

I am very very interested to see how they are going to spin this. I am not saying "Jump the Shark" but they have got to be careful, if you know what I mean.

I think this season has been great so far. It's a lot of fun! I bought seasons 1 thru 3 and they are making their way thru a lot of friends and family. My son's girlfriend is hooked, and every woman from teenager to the grandma's are lovin' these two hot and funny guys on the show! This latest season had an insert with an offer for supernatural Tshirts, mugs, posters!!! Yeah!!!

I liked the episode where Dean was scared of everything and screamed like a girl....and the halloween episode was good too, well - they're all pretty good, and I love it how when they introduce themselves, as detectives...as in Det. Getty and Lee, or Det. Angus and Young....good stuff!
