I remember reading somewhere that Sundays were the BEST days to visit Universal (or any theme park) since many families go home that day. Do you think that Sunday is actually significantly less crowded at Universal?
I am trying to decide whether to go that day or on a Thursday. I was planning to do rope drop on a Sunday, but since I'm going to Magic Kingdom until 2 am the night before, I just don't know if it's worth it to be completely wiped out that day (and probably the next one, too!). Last time I went to Universal, I got really sick from the heat and had to cut our time short. I've definitely learned from my mistakes. My hope is to experience as much as possible with the least amount of waiting. I'm only going to Universal for one day and want to visit both parks, so it's important to maximize my time. I definitely have a strong touring plan in mind, but if there are fewer crowds, that is very important to me!
I'm going about mid-August, if that helps.
Thank you for any advice!
