Subtle Disney Girl Names

I was looking around on myspace and was on a friend-of-a-friends page.
This person's daughers name is............................DISNEY!!!

I've never heard of anyone naming their child that!! I don't know if
they are big disney fans or if they just thought it was a pretty name or what!!

My family would think I had lost my mind..............but I think it's kinda pretty!! princess:

when i named my 2 dd's i wasnt thinking disney names but it actually worked out that way..my oldest is krystle named after DYNASTY which was an ABC show owned by disney and there is a crystal palce in MK and then my 2nd dd is olivia rose..theres an OLIVIAS CAFE at OKW and of course rose..my favorite so far posted here on the boards is LILY..it was the first name i thought of. but you can also go with PRINCESS! princess:

I would go with Alice, Wendy, Melody or Ella. All of these are very pretty names and no-one wpould know the disney link unless you pointed it out to them. :)

A friend at work has a daughter named Isabelle who was originally called Izzy but now she's 3 she insists on being called Belle after her favourite Disney film! :woohoo:

please no more talk of HSM names. we named our son corbin two years ago and now I just know it is going to end up being a common names since Corbin blue is in HSM

My 18 month old daughter's name is Savannah Arielle, spelled that way so that it is pronounced a bit differently than Ariel but the Little Mermaid is where I pulled the name from. (King Triton pronounced her name Arielle when he was mad).

10 months later, I had a son and named him Sebastian Alexander.

One day they will realize that their names were pulled from one of my favorite disney movies.

I really love the name Belle or Bella but DH wasn't going for that name for some reason.

Congrats btw!

How about Chelsea from That's So Raven? I like that name, and I think the name of the actress who played her, Anneliese, is very pretty.princess:

I like the name Paige too. That is the name of Belle's voice.

DS10's middle name is Corbin b/c it is a family name. We often call him by his middle name ... esp. if we're in a crowd b/c it's not a common name. His friends have been calling him Corbin Bleu since HSM started.

Thanks for all of the suggestions so far. Keep them coming! We definately can't name her Daisy or Belle, otherwise she'd be named after my friends and in-laws dogs.

I'm trying to rack my name for even more subtle names, maybe from one of the live-action films (like Jane or Mary from Mary Poppins, but something besides that).

Susan or Lucy from The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe

Anna or Tess from Freaky Friday.

Elizabeth from Pirates of the Caribbean

Clarisse or Mia from the Princess Diaries

Dh and I are going to WDW at the end of Sept and it is prime time concieving time for us...I just thinking that if I got pregnant at the world...what kind of middle names I would give them to symbolize where they were concieved but not to make it obvious. I like Michael as a middle name for a boy (Mickey) but I was having a hard time coming up with one for a girl. But with a girl I like the name Sydney (starts to sound the same as Ci-nderella)
