Stupid question from newbie

Hi all,
I'm looking to buy points from a DVC member for six nights at the BCV in May. I've never bought points before, and I'm not sure what kind of time frame is necessary to buy the points and ask that the reservation be made. Can anyone advise me on when I should start looking for points to buy or posting a message about needing them? Thanks!

If you are serious about this, add your nights to this post, along with the size villa you need. A member should contact you very soon. If you want BCV around Memorial Day, it would be good to look for your reservation now.

You should post any request for a DVC as soon as you are SURE that you are going and want a specific accomodation because they fill up quickly. It is important that you know that with most DVC owners who rent points, this is a FINAL transaction. So , as soon as you are sure, post your request. Good luck and have a great vacation.
